Yeah it's a little tricky - I went with defense subtraction mainly because it can work with SAs, which the completed Atlas characters both have. (And they both specifically have effects where they're extra-rewarded for scoring wounds)

Fine with giving him something more distinct too/instead, though - I'm of the mindset that it'll be easier to build once he's in place.

No clue if it’s what is correct for the character or the faction, but could something like this work?

If you do, for the entire round, figures subtract 1 from their Attack number when attacked by a friendly Unique Agent Hero, or 2 if they have already been attacked by a friendly Unique Agent Hero that turn.
Both G-M and HR’s SAs also have the potential to hit multiple targets, so they can ping a bunch of people then have one of the other Agents capitalize on all the defense subtraction.

I could get behind that sort of thing, but might want to slightly reduce the number of twiddles? I might want to just bake that into the leadership power at that point.

I was considering an 'Atlas Foundation Resources' themed thing where you could do a few things at the end of the round... one of them being maybe a way to heal M-11 up and get him back sooner. Could pursue something like that.

Thanks for pointing out Coulson similarity though, forgot to mention that in last post - forgot about him because I wasn't that checked in for the AoS stuff.

Agent leader type people feel like a category we'd really have to police for 'samey-ness'

Like 'relatively normal person, tells agent people what to do' covers a loooot of characters

It's been a while since I've read any of the Agents of Atlas stuff, but something playing up the whole 'controls a secret society' thing like the 'Atlas Foundation Resources' idea sounds good to me.

Feel like I've been doing too many designs with bullet points lately, is my main reservation. Options there are general-use-movement thing, a get-M-11-back-faster thing, and then like a weird trinkety option to let them pretend to be a different class, since they do front as bad guys.

How does the Class thing help them for this specific team. I'm recovering from a headache after driving all weekend so I'm not seeing it.

I guess my thinking there is that burning a marker pretending to be something else when their isn't an in faction payoff seems like a waste of space and reducing it to the other two options means you can delete the bullet points approach since it's just an "or"

Nah, I'd bullet that for readability even if the class option wasn't there.

Honestly that bullet is the main thing selling me on that direction in general, though. Strongest theme note even though it's the most minor mechanical one.

I'd maybe throw in a 'and Agents add 1 to their defense this round' or they have Disengage or something to the class change bullet just so it has a chance to matter more often. Like the bad guy facade is throwing people off and allowing them to do their thing more freely or whatnot.
