I'm really glad this guy came out now. He was pretty cool in testing and I wanted to have him available for when Spawn, and hopefully N'Astirh, go through testing themselves.

I would say yes. The wounds are applied to the card; and then removed.

That extra wound adds to the total of that "single attack". so if her initial attack only gives 1 wound, if you choose to give the auto-wound for a total of 2 wounds, Frank could ignore them both. But if you choose not to add that auto-wound, then Frank would take the single wound.

Yes. She rolls 3 skulls and Frank rolls 1 shield, so she put 2 wounds on and since she inflicted 1+ wounds, you add 1 wound for Poison Darts, for a total of 3 wounds. Then Frank removes 2 of those 3 wounds unless those his final 3 wounds and he was destroyed.

So per your example cwidje, Frank would end up with 1 wound from BW's attack after all was said and done.

Now from what Quozl was saying, if BW rolled 2 skulls vs. 1 shield from Frank for 1 wound, you wouldn't want to apply the auto wound from Poison Darts because that would bring his total wounds up to 2 and he could remove them, unless of course those 2 wounds would have been enough to kill him. So in that case, since Poison Darts is a "may" power, you'd be best to not add the auto wound so you'd at least be able to give him 1 wound that he couldn't remove.
