Re: Juggernaut - Design Phase
Much appreciated.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Rolling the d20 to see which wins seems too sloppy for this and how often it could come into play. This is a tough one. Would it be out of the question edit Blob's card to exclude Juggernaut's personality of Unyielding from the power? Last edited by tcglkn; October 29th, 2011 at 01:01 PM. |

Re: Juggernaut - Design Phase
I don't think it's even a D20 issue, because it's not an issue of which comes into play first ... it doesn't really matter which comes into play first, because they'll both come into play before he has a chance to move, and the situation will still be paradoxical.

Re: Juggernaut - Design Phase
After looking at all figures who can move or affect the move of opponent's figures (Definitive Lists and Sortable Index FTW!), here's what I'm thinking:
UNSTOPPABLE FORCE If Juggernaut moves at least one space, Juggernaut's movement may not be stopped by any special power on an Army Card. Juggernaut may move through all figures and will not take any leaving engagement attacks. Quote:

Juggs is LARGE, so these do not apply. The problem is Mister Fantastic: Quote:

Re: Juggernaut - Design Phase
I completely missed that you made him Large. This is a great fix to the small and medium problem. However the mini isn't terribly big and is a little odd to have him large when we have other figures like Hulk, who is considerably bigger, listed as medium.

Re: Juggernaut - Design Phase
Juggs is 9'5" and 1900 pounds!
If that doesn't qualify as Large, I don't know what does. Green Hulk is only 7'-8' and 1400 pounds max. I can't help it Clix can't do scale. |

Re: Juggernaut - Design Phase
The mini you have listed in the OP is cheap and looks fantastic. If only it were bigger. The new Giant Sized X-Men figure is a much better scale (I'm pretty sure), but it's like $40. Too rich for my blood.

Re: Juggernaut - Design Phase
The fix is simple Sir G. Just know that Juggs' power is that once he has any momentum, he can't be stopped, but Jean, Gravi, and Mr F all stop him before he gets started. It is a theme WIN as is.

Re: Juggernaut - Design Phase
Good call on "large," Sir G! I definitely missed that.

Come to think of it ... isn't it a little odd for Mr. Fantastic to be able to Rubber Wrap a hypothetical future Galactus? Should we just ninja revise Mr. Fantastic to restrict him to small/medium? C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

I thought of Anti-Monitor but yes I agree.

Re: Juggernaut - Design Phase
I have too, and I think that was the initial rationale, but near planet sized guys like Galactus and Anti-Monitor seem like a stretch ... (pun not intended).
