Re: The Book of Ulginesh
It's pretty good, but lacking in one very essential part- Defense. It will usaully fall fast to strong or lots of attacks, which most armies have.

Re: The Book of Ulginesh
Yeah, but even if you fixed that, a smart player can deny you of both map control and multiple attacks by spreading out (to prevent rain of flame.) Granted, in the right situation, the elves can be good, but I agianst a experinced oppenet or the wrong army, they suck. Big time.

Re: The Book of Ulginesh
Sure, but agianst a squad heavy army, a spread out army can only let you get 2 kills per turn, or less. So yes, you can still use it, but it won't be as effective.

The Elf Army should never, EVER, fight anywhere else than where it wants to. You set up your pod in the best possible spot, have Raelin casting her aura over them, and chill out there attacking anything that gets close. If they don't come to you, you can charge out Arkmer as far as he can do, attack with 4/5, and then have Emirroon pull him back, and just do that all day until they fight on your terms. Re: The Book of Ulginesh
Has anybody considered using Emirroon with Theracus? Theracus flys Emirroon to high ground then, you can summon Ulginesh and mind link with Emirroon. Use Emirroon to summon elves, and use Ulginesh to take a turn with the summoned one. On height!

Re: The Book of Ulginesh
That is a good idea for a map where Emirroon can't get to the high ground easily. Most tourney-style maps tend to make the high ground relatively accessible to ground-pounders, so this sort of thing is unnecessary for most tournament-style games. A cool idea, though. I'll tuck it away for the next time I'm playing on a bigger scale game.
