Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Jonah Hex)
Yeah pretty much a Lawman staple. But he's fairly squishy and the Lawmen aren't quite there yet. They'll be getting some new toys soon, but even then there's still something missing.
Also it's strange that a cowboy is a Lawman staple. |

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Jonah Hex)
A Bounty Hunter army works decently right? I know Johnny Alpha ties them together.

I haven't played them yet, but they look fun.

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Jonah Hex)
Fancy Shooting is pretty fantastic Lawman synergy, but the rest of the Lawmen aren't super strong so it's not overpowered. Still, Hex is probably the best of the faction.

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Jonah Hex)
I mostly like the card for Hex and have used it quite a few times happily. I only wish he had a little more staying power somehow, or maybe a little better turn activation flexibility (ie. bonding or something) so you at least get a few more turns out of him before he goes down. Really like how the Sabre & Fancy Shooting combo here though, making him good at making both melee and ranged attacks but in different ways. Need to see how the BH faction worked out now that Johnny Alpha is done. 4 stars

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Bob, Agent of Hydra
Probably the original April Fools joke style design, but not a terrible use of points with Deadpool. Otherwise pretty useless

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Bob, Agent of Hydra
He’s cheap and doesn’t do much. Fine as a filler in a Deadpool army, but not worth it most of the time. C/2
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Bob, Agent of Hydra
I just played with him a bunch. Surprisingly, incredibly useful.
The card is not up to date with his Mercenary class, which makes him more usable. #1 fan with 6M 6Rm disengage, Deadpool's survivability and the relatively low D20 roll make his auto-wounds fairly frequent in my experience. He can be used to engage one figure while auto-wounding the attacker. He's often not targetable thanks to Hiding, although when he is, he's obviously likely to die. But when he does, it's only 25 points. Pretty hilarious visual of him running halfway across the battlefield coming to Deadpool's rescue. Very loyal. |

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Bob, Agent of Hydra
Won common battle in the early days at my house was 600 point games of Sabertooth, Deadpool, and Bob vs Wolverine, Colossus, and jubilee. Fun times.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Bob, Agent of Hydra
You must have caught this as soon as I updated the thread. All of our class changes have been added to their threads but cards mostly still need updating, I’ll make a big announcement about it soon.
