HowTo - Modify plastic looking plants

Can someone assist me with how to make plastic plants look... well, uhm.

not-so-plastic-looking

I just used the seach function and searched for "jungle" in the Custom Terrain Section for the 1st link (thread titles only).

The second link I new of off the top of my head since it's one of the feature threads in that section as well (one of the stickies).

Anyway, my wife unit said she had a spray that turned plastic looking stuff into non-plastic-looking stuff.

It must be magic. I'll post some How To article when I find the solution.

I have that kind of spray too, that turns plastic looking stuff into non-plastic-looking stuff...

Hair spray and a lighter!

kinda that marrow "green thumb" effect.

But, seriously, I just use a light dry brush of different types of green paint to quell the "plastic shiny shiny".

I'd love to know what that spray is your wife knows about, it sounds cool.

UPDATE: The non-plastic-looking-magic-spray-of-wonder.

Uhm.... the spray turned my hex tile into a runny river of green.

Wife: "Oops. Hey, It's a work-in-progress."
My reply: "THAT! .... was my favorite hex tile!"
Wife reply: "Couch."
My reply: "Ya know, it's kinda like camping."

What is it called? Or did she hide it from you?

She sprayed a green hex tile with Indoor/Outdoor polyurethane (satin with a clear top) made by Crafts Etc!

Then applied One Step crackle.

I'll see if we can repeat and snap a picture.
