Re: The Book of Godzilla - VOTE for release
cards look great. Nice work Arkham.
YEA Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: The Book of Godzilla - Final Editing
Quote:
Is this the official ruling? Max +4, not +8? The card looks phenomenal! Only thing I might want different would be to have the counter silhouette match the figure's. Sticks out being Legendary Godzilla. |

Re: The Book of Godzilla - VOTE for release
If the intention is for the counters to be potentially used for future Godzilla figures, why use a silhouette that is so clearly specific to the recent American version? The one I made is more universally Godzilla. It brings to mind the Toho Trademark icon for Godzilla, which is a generic Godzilla, yet still reminiscent of its Japanese incarnations.
I assume that the counters are designed to bring to mind his dorsal fins lighting up as he powers up to blast Atomic Breath. So I don't understand how the counters on the card show off his iconic fin silhouette better than this alternate version. The Legendary Godzilla is famous for its 2014 version featuring its own take on G's dorsal fins, being more like spikes, before adopting its more familiar shape in 2019's KotM. |

toyhandle, it's because no one cares as much for these details except for you. I'm fine with any image for the markers.

Re: The Book of Godzilla - VOTE for release
Forgive my interest. Like I said, I hope to be a help rather than a hindrance. Reminds me of this quote by Griffin in his aid working out the "It's All A Joke" power for Comedian, which ended up being a fantastically thematic and unique power thanks to his input.

Re: The Book of Godzilla - VOTE for release
Well it’s awesome that you are so interested. We’re mostly just outclassed by your knowledge base here.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Oh, likewise! Thanks for chiming in. But most of the time the answer to “why didn’t you XYZ” is “we didn’t know half of that.”
