SO good. A bit complex, and Aura of Darkness seems a bit specific, and I'm not sure how I feel about him being so tied to Dagger... but man, this hits Cloak on all the marks. Fast, flying, and sucking people into the netherworld to drain their essence in a manner that is both viscerally appealing and mechanically sound! And two range!

And he's even Brooding!

He does kinda go crazy when Dagger's not around and you never hear of just Cloak, it's always Cloak and Dagger so I think these are two characters that deserve to be tied together like this. Glad you like him over all though. He's pretty fun once you get him on the board, though I never can keep someone in the Dimension of Darkness for too long.

Yeah, this is one of those characters that just wouldn't make sense without a reference to another character. There are very few characters I really feel fit that category, but this guy? Definitely.

Character Bio - Cloak is the personification of darkness itself. He is the Yin to his partner Dagger's Yang. A superhero of the streets, he wages a war against drugs and drug related crimes. Cloak's powers derive from his ability to manipulate Darkforce energy and access the dimension from which it originates. He might actually be made of this negative energy. Darkforce energy is perceived by humans as dark matter, either in gas, liquid, or solid form. It is cold, draining, and prolonged exposure can cause insanity, turn one evil, and even kill. Cloak can create a localized field of impenetrable darkness; create mobile, solid tendrils of darkness; and pull people into the Darkforce dimension by opening a portal within his cloak.

Yea, unfortunately Dimension of Darkness took up too much text on the card for me to add a teleportation power.

I have 2 questions for the Cloak :
1. Who decides to place a figure from the Cloak card ? The player who controls the Cloak or the player who controls this figure ?
2. When the Cloak is destroyed and there's 2 figures on his card with only one free hex : which figure will be placed on board and which one will be destroyed ?

I don't know much at all about Cloak & Dagger, but I've been seeing ads for the new TV show recently and it looks like they may have turned things on it's head a bit. Kind of looks like Cloak is from an upper class neighborhood, while Dagger is from the streets. Is that how it is in the comics or am I correct in thinking it was originally the other way around?

Yes, exactly. Dagger is the daughter of a rich super model in the comics.
