That's typically what I do, with the understanding that it may need to be re-glued in the future. One thing to keep in mind with YJ's bases. The labels are not stickers - I believe they are printed on photo paper. They have to be cut out and glued to the base.


Edit: one other thing to keep in mind. Yodajunkie doesn't always have the fastest turnaround, sometimes taking several weeks to deliver. However, I have ALWAYS received everything I've ordered.

I would need to pull out one of the figures with a peanut base to get dimensions to make a model from; I don't have ready-to-go models for the figure bases. But starting them as brown would just be a case of using the correct color filament to make them with.

@Dr.Goomonkey To second mac, sometimes it takes a while, but I have always received what I ordered. And when I had a issue once, he promptly resolved the issue.

My AT-ST kept falling over too. I gave him high heels to keep him upright. Those ankles are so flimsy, it's hard to completely take it off the base. Doesn't look pretty, but it works. I will have to post a picture in the AT-ST thread when I get a chance.

Don't forget to cut holes in the label where the feet go -- you want the feet to be glued to the base, not the sticker.

I just glue to the label. If it comes off, I just glue it again. Pretty rare that it happens though.

I've ordered from and been very pleased with Yodajunkie in the past and have been wanting to get some more bases for a couple months, but couldn't find the site anymore. So finding this thread was great timing. I placed an order on Monday evening, 3/27, and got shipping confirmation on 3/29. I should have my bases by Saturday. Thanks @hose and @mac122 for pointing me back to Yodajunkie!

Well, the rebasing adventure is going well, other than all these guys:

Do you have any insider tips for getting these particular figures if their bases? The AT-ST seems very attached to its base, as does the armored guulvorg (actually I think I can get him off with an exacto knife, it'll just take a long time). The purple gorgonites are from the Small Soldiers board game, and they are literally attached to their bases. Seriously, it's the same piece of plastic as they are.

Would a dremel be my last hope? I can't see that not marking up their feet, but I suppose it is only their feet. I might be able to do it with an exacto knife, but it would take hours per figure.

If you can go to Harbour Freight and get a Hobby Tool Kit, it's like a soldering iron with various tips including a flat tip that will cut through the plastic like butter.
