Trade Thread Revision Proposal

It is really confuzing trying to find traders and who is a good trader and who is not. Everyone is on one thread and it is not easily searched.

Heroscape FanSite - Heroscapers.com Forum Index --> Scapers Online --> HS Trade Thread & Good Traders

I would like to propose that it could be done more efficiently if trading had its own main topic and not one thread under Scrapers Online. For instance please see the following:

Heroscape FanSite - Heroscapers.com Forum Index --> Trading --> Good/Bad Traders
Heroscape FanSite - Heroscapers.com Forum Index --> Trading --> Vydar
Heroscape FanSite - Heroscapers.com Forum Index --> Trading --> Nooblar
Heroscape FanSite - Heroscapers.com Forum Index --> Trading --> Ditzer
Heroscape FanSite - Heroscapers.com Forum Index --> Trading --> (username)

In this methodology, people can post responses to a specific forum member and it is easier to search for items and good traders.

There also needs to be one sticky thread that would be the GOOD / BAD Trader list that needs to be maintained by a moderator. People use this thread to put trade successes to the forum member that made a good/bad trade.

This type of methodolgy for minis has been very successful and easy to use on other forums. Please look at the following link for an example of this methodology:
http://snaggletoothgames.com/forum/v...4597f23c4f6a44

Administrators, please consider this proposal.

I second this proposal. It's a bit of a jungle in there.

Wouldn't this be best addressed in the Scapers Online subforum?

The admins have discussed this before and I will quote my fellow admin Lilnewbie.

The issue is this site does not promote/condone trades. We allow one thread to contain trades but everyone should understand it is Caveat Emptor (buyer beware.) I.E. You are on your own. This site does not have the resources or staff to track down bad traders or situations.

If we created a seperate area, people would take that as support for trades (even if we posted in large letters that the staff and site are not responsible for any transactions.)

This could one day change but for now it's the policy of this site.

Newb.

I understand that it is buyer beware and it is the same on other forums. That is why you have the Good/bad trader list that is maintained by a moderator.

It works elsewhere because you can see who is nqughty and who is nice. You can also PM users for recomendations too.
