Yeah sorry Spidey, didn't mean to exclude that. 4 attack feels a bit low. I'd rather come up with other means to reign it in if it feels too juicy. I want him still feeling like a powerhouse, that's his main thing. With the defense reduction only being on non-SS, and the additional attacks each only being granted is he causes a wound in the previous attack, an attack of 4 would fall a little flat IMO.

Does he feel like he should have four attacks of 7 regularly? Because with his power set and either Cap or SL (which he would actually work with both in the same army), he'd get it pretty regularly (and even as much as 4 attacks of 8.) IMO, welcome to the next re-eval unit.

In that case, there should be another way of keeping him in check. No way this guy coming in at 4 base attack is thematically justified.

Well, I stated my reasons while you also posted. What about a Swordplay type punching power here?

Like I said, I'm not pushing forward with something that's not ideal, but there are several directions we can take to find a nice middle ground. The 4 attack is not that middle ground, and does not work well with the power as it stands. Happy to field other approaches. I'll spitball some ideas soon.

Watching some gameplay videos on YouTube, he doesn't seem to just batter away with all his arms at once - he uses them in different ways. How about something like Double Attack and Super Throw? He seems to chuck his opponents around a lot.

Did you watch the video I included in the 4th post? His pummel is one of his trademarks. Usually picks them up with his bottom arms, then just pummels away for 4+ hits with his top arms.

Throwing could be fun though.

What if instead of subtracting defense, figures without SS couldn't move between his attacks, to represent him grabbing hold of them?

I'm fine with that. I was aping from Piledriver's approach, but I'd be fine with him holding them in place, even if it's a bit niche.

Not a fan of more than two normal attacks per turn. Just make it a SA, then it can be 5 Attack with -1 Defense.
