Custom Rule: The Gatehouse.
Ok, Im building a 2 castle 4 master set right now, and I don't want to have a figure on the bottom level to have to open the gate. So, what if I place a tower there, on the door opening space, and whoever is on the tower can open the gate?
Im going to see if it significantly alters play. Its basica;;y just harder to get to. Theophilus.
