Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)

Greetings from not so sunny Kidderminster. Play a fair bit of Heroscape at the moment, although nothing where I am really allowed to unleash all hell and murder against everything on the map. To the point where if I had Q9 he'd have to sit in my boxes and cry about not being used. I play mostly against kids less than half my age, and beating them into the floor is counter to the purpose of playing them. By no means are they simply allowed to win, they have to fight for it, but it has to be fair.

Occasionally I get to play at full power and then I'm against folks my own age. Those games are intense fun.

Welcome to the UK Scapers thread. Boardgames are a great leveller in regards to age.

Yup. I've lost to people less than a quarter of my age many, many times.

Q - "Are you one of those people who does The Times crossword puzzle in 10 minutes?"

A - "I have NEVER taken 10 minutes!"

Anyone on this sub forum got Wave 13 yet? Comes a bit close to the last wave for me and close to Christmas, so for now I have given it a miss.

Well I certainly will not be getting it this side of Christmas. Let me know what you think once you have it unwrapped. Well not straight away, but you know what I mean.

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)

I got it ages ago. Didn't really look at it though. Whose idea was it to introduce a seventh general in the last ever wave? Because that's the definition given in my dictionary when I look up the word "boneheaded".

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)

hey guys!
Has anyone here got any spare MacDirks that they would consider selling?
I decided to post on here because it would be a lot more hassle to see if I can get any from America.

If anyone does, could plaese PM me?
Thanks

'Fraid not, Sam. I have no spares of anything outside of the RotV figures (I still have a fair few duplicates after buying nine of that particular master set).

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)

Add another one to the "UK Heroscapers". I'm from the North East (Middlesbrough to be exact) and just got into Heroscape a couple of weeks ago. The one thing I've now discovered is that is extremely difficult to get Heroscape stuff over here, which is a shame.
