Warriors of ashra are a good cheap defense against Krug,
Odds are that you will roll at least one shield each time, and that blocks all damage.

They probably wouldn't do too good against Jotun, he would just throw them away.

idk, maybe Marrden hounds against Jotun. Plague then attack. Maybe set Tae back some for an additional attack die.

I would use some sort of ranged attacked, high ground with Tae.

If you like the melee approach go for the warriors of ashra.

Su De Ma.
Taking out Jotun is the premeire use of Sudema. Its so worth it.

I'll add Alastair MacDirk, his overextend is priceless.

Microcorps own Jotun as long as they can get height, so does syvvaris.

suduma on krug, she will just keep using her stare of stone, which wont be able to boost krugs attack, and since her attack is ranged, she might be able to gain height in the process

great traders:

Hilo-scaper and NEMT

deliverymanxas is surprisingly tart
Braxas could do it easily on his own...
Denrik...Carr...Warriors of Ashra...Crixus...Marrden Hounds would also work if you wanted numbers.
Krav Maga...Syvarris...MeBurqSa could all be decent ranged units...

But these are just some of my favorites...

How exactly? Her special doesnt work on large and up

She might get them with good die rolls but she woudlnt easily be able to do it...in most cases, Juton and Krug would slap her silly

Range is the way to go ...elevated range

A must read for all 'Scapers!

fejkl Woo who?
Minions would also work fine. With height, they'd of course be even better. Jotun can't throw them since they're flyers, so he's left with one normal attack, or Wild Swing. The Minions' defense should hold up vs. Wild Swing, but not his normal.

They'd also work for Krug, but perhaps not as well as for Jotun. When he gets high damage, he'd probably be able to take out two per turn. Still, if you get height + Tae with them, that's a possibility of 8 hits PER MINION. Krug would fall very fast at that rate.

Other than that, range is the way to go, as usual.

The last time I took Krug down it was with - yes, indeed - 4th Mass. Wait then fire puts lots of ranged fire down on him, at a pretty good distance. In Kruggy's defense, he's a must-buy in an orc army. Lots of arrow gruts, swog riders and Krug. You can move him with their bonding free every turn. I position 1 swog with each squad of gruts and use him like a commander. My last game, I had what looked for all the world like disciplined units of gruts moving over the field in formation. Whoever thought the words "disciplined" and "gruts" could ever be used in the same sentence.
