Yo,

i been getting into risk 2210. i'm one of those people who likes to research every thing and found that Craig Van Nass helped make it and thought that was awesome.

Re: Craig's earlier hit

He has designed, or had a hand in designing, lots of other games as well (some of them obviously for kids):

Boxers or Briefs
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (US)
Butt-Ugly Martians - The Race to Rescue Dog
Clue FX
Fairly Odd PArents game
Firefighter Search & Rescue
3 Goosebumps games
Kim Possible Game
NASCAR Champions
Neopets: Adventures in Neopia
3 PowerPuff Girls games
Roller Coaster Tycoon
Sorry Sliders
Star Wars Epic Duels
Star Wars Episode 1: Clash of the Lightsabers
Star Wars Jedi Unleashed
Star Wars Queen's Gambit
Stratego Legends
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game
Throw Me A Bone
Transformers Armada: Battle for Cybertron
Transformers Battling Card game

Don't think of it as being outnumbered. Think of it as having a wide shot selection!

Sorry for the thread necro, but I just picked up a base set of Stratego Legends, and as a fan of the original game, I have to say that Legends adds a whole new layer of awesomeness. Basically, Legends is fantasy-themed and every playing piece has a special ability. This twist adds a lot of new strategies, combos, synergies, and really makes every piece, even the low ranked ones, a valuable part of your army if played in the right situation. Stratego fans should definitely check it out.

Re: Craig's earlier hit

If you like apples to apples Boxers or Briefs destroys that game. Its crazy that Craig had a hand in it.

Re: Craig's earlier hit

My local Wal-Mart has the "new edition" Boxers or Briefs (2010) for $10.

From what I read on BGG it's missing a lot of cards and game pieces compared to the 2005 version, but I hear it's a fun party game so I just might pick it up.

Thumbs up Re: Craig's earlier hit

Risk 2210 AD.

If you thought putting your back to the wall in Australia was good, try the moon!

2210 adds a vast amount of different strategies to vanilla risk, I would just recommend shortening the game with custom rules if there were less than diehard board gamers playing. The bits are really nice as well.
