Re: The Book of Clayface (Basil Karlo) (II) (Vote 4 Initials
In retrospect I would have minded that being more of a permanent aesthetic for villains - forcing the opponent to roll low vs. the controlling player rolling high. It's a subtle but consistent way to make good guys and bad guys more separate. If we started from scratch I'd probably push for that. I do think it's a break/bend here, but as long as we try to be consistent about it I don't have a problem with it.
Honestly I think that Claymation should be "small or medium" figures over "non-huge" because big boys shouldn't really be getting pulled like that. But Yea either way. JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

Having your opponent roll their own fate is a super cool mechanic. Love that.
Another hallmark design for Arkham. |

___________________________________________________________ THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Debut Act is very fun. You can use it to save a friendly from a potential big hit, or use it on a weak hit with the more likely chance that it triggers Claymation. Either way, "surprise, it's Clayface, and you're now stuck" is very useful and fun. He didn't feel too difficult to take out, and Claymation in general was avoided more often than it hit, so he didn't feel too scary. However, subtracting 3(on top of Lex's -1) from the rolls of figures engaged with him when combined with Grundy's Crush and Joker's Pernicious Prankster, can be nasty if the rolls are right. 255 feels good thus far. |

Re: The Book of Clayface (Basil Karlo) (II) (Initial Playtes
Looks good. Pre-yea for testing.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Clayface (Basil Karlo) (II) (Vote 4 Public T
Just watched the animated Hush movie with my son yesterday...There is exactly one of those "Surprise it's Clayface" moments and I instantly thought of this..
YEA Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |
