System of a Down

Does anyone on this forum regularly listen to this band? They are definitely my favorite, and the lead singer just came out with a solo album!

This thread is a general discussion of everything System of a Down related.

I'll write this in the most signified manner possible. Making crude or lame jokes on these are just pointless because of their insignificance.

Seeing that I am a relatively unsocial user, I do not know if you are talking about a user, or the game character.

naps420 Woo who?
I love System of a Down. I even got to meet the lead singer once years ago and hung out with him in a local bar. The are a great live band as well. I plan to pick up his solo album, seems like it's going to be a good CD.

Sounds... OK so far. Will have to listen to it at work tomorrow. Or maybe tonight when my kid goes to sleep.

I love their first three albums! Toxicity was one of the first CDs that I ever owned and I just recently acquired their first album. I'll have to say that Hypnotize and Mezmorize were HUGE disappointments for me, I couldn't stand them. I think that Steal This Album is highly underrated as well.

I'll definitely have to check out Surge's solo album!

I completely agree with every thing said in this post.

Yes I love System. Sugar would be my favorite song.

I'm the opposite. I hated their first album. Loved Toxicity, which made me give the first a try again. Hypno and Mezmorize blew me away. Serj's solo album is kinda boring.

System of a Down is one of the most musically consistent band I've ever heard. They are what? 5, 6 albums out now? And they still sound almost the way they were with SUGAR!!! For me, this is a good thing for this band. To some, it's tiring or redundant. <---and by the way, this emoticon does not looked surprised!

They're pretty cool. I like the music, and definately the vocals, but I'm not too much into "political" bands.

For the most part, I think musicians should keep their opinions to themselves, and just put out good music.
