Thanks for the tag @johnny139 . I had actually already had my eye here (I do still lurk semi-regularly, and still have plans to dive back in at some point).

I think the move to Magical Defense is probably a reasonable one. I do miss the Darksoul side of things that I had put in, where using the Soul Sword causes her to power up but eventually can turn her into a Demon (and cause you to lose control of her).

I'm pretty down on negative abilities that cause someone to switch sides, I think they make units see a lot less play cause it's just such a feel bad.

Yeah, due to the fact MD figures already have MD, defensive spells have been not looked upon favorably. Like Raven with more staying power would not be good for the game.

We could always do a separate Darkchilde design later on, so we can have that more high-powered but risky approach.

I like the "bonus against supernatural stuff" style Soulsword. Feel like that squares with what I normally expect the thing to do. Don't like the double attack, feels like an unnecessary beefing-up of the card without a strong theme reason to be there. (And none of her thematic buddies are stat boosters, I don't think, so why encourage that sort of pairing?)

Magik adds one automatic skull when attacking an Angel, Demon, or Undead figure.

Lean and clean. Gets in, hits the theme, and gets out. You could throw "figures with Magical Defense" in there too if you really wanted.

Also I like the name Stepping Discs 10 instead of Stepping Discs Teleportation 10. Keep forgetting to say that.

I like the short and sweet approach Ronin. I don't mind slimming the power down to keep it thematic. She really gets more defensively powerful the more she uses her sword. I think that is covered by Magical Defense, no need to boost further.

I was going to take the teleportation word out at first, but I wasn't sure if it was something everyone would want or not.
