Tagawa's Custom Terrain and Obstacles

Hello, I have decided to make a custom terrain and obstacles thread!

My first entry is my entry from the wyrmling nest speed custom terrain contest, it is a black wyrmling nest.

Here are a few pictures (I'll fix them soon).







The nest was simple to make but took a a while anyway. The first step was glueing a one-hex tile on top of a three-hex tile. Then I snipped of the points on about 100 toothpicks at varying lengths. After that I dyed them with Minwax Floor Finish, English Chestnut 233. I picked that color because it was the only color I had at the time. Then I glued the toothpicks together in a nestlike form.
I made the egg from a small easter egg. I cut it up with an exacto knife until it looked satisfactory. After that I spray painted it with Premium Rust-Oleum Hammered Finish spray paint. Then I glued the two halves together.
The finnal step was to glue the egg onto the nest, and ta da it's done.

Rats, me neither. Does anybody know how I could fix them? I use my walgreens account for my pictures. Would that make a difference?

Try using photobucket, it's free and always seems to work.

Photobucket never fails...I had similar problems when I started my custom thread until I switched to PB.
