Tournament: MS1 vs MS2 vs Marvel vs MS3-D&D

Who would win in Tournament on a map with enough starting spaces for each made from the terrain in the master set of each combined? Map would be designed as to not give clear advantage to any one set but starting zones would give that player slight advantage. Tournament would have a matchup one-on-one of each combination and see who has best record. So if they match up like Rock-Paper-Scissors where A can beat B, B can beat C, and C can beat A, how much they win by matters.

So the question is which is the best overall army:

Master Set 1 - 1490
Agent Carr 100
Airborne Elite 110
Deathwalker 9000 140
Finn the Viking Champion 80
Grimnak 120
Izumi Samurai 60
Krav Maga Agents 100
Marro Warriors 50
Mimring 150
Ne-Gok-Sa 90
Raelin the Kyrie Warrior 80
Sgt. Drake Alexander 110
Syvarris 100
Tarn Viking Warriors 50
Thorgrim the Viking Champion 80
Zettian Guards 70

Master Set 2 - 1490
Tor-Kul-Na 220
[Marrden Nagrubs 30 x 2 OR x 4]
[Marro Stingers 60 x 4 OR x 3]
Marro Drudge 50 x 3
Marro Hive 160
Major Q10 150
Raelin the Kyrie Warrior V2 120
Sgt. Drake Alexander V2 170
Shiori 60
Sonlen 160

Marvel (Your choice from selected) - 1490
Abomination 320 OR Silver Surfer 320
Captain America 220
Doctor Doom 245
Iron Man 240
Red Skull 190
[Thanos 360 OR Incredible Hulk 370]
[Spider Man 160 OR Venom 150]

MS3 - D&D - 1490
Ana Karithon 100
Darrak Ambershard 60
The Deepwyrm Drow 70 x 5
Erevan Sunshadow 80
Feral Troll 90 x 6
Othkurik the Black Dragon 140
Pelloth 100
Tandros Kreel 120

Any willing playtesters?

Point equivalancy.

Anyway, I clicked MS1 because I only read the title and not the insturctions, but upon second glance, Marvel will probably have the best fighting chance. :P

You may want to edit the question to read, "Who would win in a battle?"

Re: MS1 vs MS2 vs Marvel vs MS3-D&D

I would drop hulk and pick up thanos in a heart beat and give away the 10Pts.

That said MS2. Raelin, TKN, Q10 and stingers would be a hard group to take out.

Re: MS1 vs MS2 vs Marvel vs MS3-D&D

We tried playing MS1 vs. MS2 + Su-bak-na. MS2 won, but the Krav really put a hurting on the Marros.

Re: MS1 vs MS2 vs Marvel vs MS3-D&D

Master set 2 > Master Set 1 > Master set 3 > Marvel

Why? because squads will always pretty much take out the heroes. Pelloth just needs to kill a few Drow and Cap is a goner and the game is over for them. However, superior heroes and squads (especially the Krav), finish off the DnD's.

However, MS1 falls under the squads and Tor-Kul-Na.

Now through May 28th, the Louisville region is in desperate need of platelets - call the Red Cross if you are interested in donating!

Re: MS1 vs MS2 vs Marvel vs MS3-D&D

What the heck is that crap under Marvel? I see poor strategic choices for Marvel figures. You want point equivalency? Try:

Marvel (Selected) - 1490
Thanos 360
Abomination 320
Captain America 220
Doctor Doom 245
Incredible Hulk 370
Iron Man 240
Red Skull 190
Silver Surfer 320
Spider Man 160
Venom 150

That at least gives them a fighting chance.

Re: MS1 vs MS2 vs Marvel vs MS3-D&D

If you wanted to seriously ask this question you would need to have the map already designed...because where particular terrain is greatly affects where and how a particular unit is effective.

Like Onacara said, map is a big factor. However, 6 Feral Troll makes me take MS3 to win.

Without dark, there is no light.
Without bad HScape figs, there are no good ones.
Dund is important, therefore
