The Book of King Kong (Event Hero)

I think some sanity tests would be good. The current version definitely did feel overpowered in the tests Eric and I ran, just not by a *lot*. So I'm hopeful the proposed change will be enough, but a couple of tests to verify is probably prudent.

When Kong rolls 4 skulls, that is an auto wound and Mecha only gets to roll 4 Defense dice.
1 out of 4 is not a botched roll, it is pretty much average.
Even 0 out of 4 is not unexpected.
3 of 7 skulls is about average, that damage could have been worse.
Regardless those battles were not close. Even with a couple more shields MechaG gets stomped.
Kong only needs 2 skulls out of 6-10 dice to reduce the target's defense by 2. That is happening almost every time he attacks. 4 gets him an auto wound.

Godzilla only won because he used terrain, Kong had a bad defensive roll and Godzilla won initiative. If King Kong wins initiative, he gets another solid victory.

Unfortunately the details/breakdown got lost for this one due to the little one refreshing the page or something while I took the dogs out. Close game that depended on the final initiative to determine the outcome either way. Overall, Kong def. has the advantage for this matchup since Cage's bonding has a range limit that Kong can disrupt.

Big squash on Kong from the Justice League here. He made quick work of Canary, but the big attacks in response from Hawkwoman and Green Arrow dominated Kong faster than he could handle.

R2: Stargirl reveals X to ignore Kong's attack on MechaG. MechaG drags Kong, then attacks him for 5 wounds. MechaG puts 2 wounds on Kong with TMC, then kills Kong with his 2nd Twin Maser Cannon roll. (tried an attack after this to see if it would have resulted any differently, but his attack would have killed him as well)

R3: MechaG kills Wasp.


Mechagodzilla with 14/15 wounds. (1 life)
Stargirl unwounded.

Anyone's game in the end. Kong's side won the initiative for round 2, so it was in his favor, but on his last attack to try and finish MechaG, he rolled poorly so he didn't finish the job. MechaG then finished off Kong. Stargirl's Protective Force Field X was a nice pairing here for MechaG.
