You're right, that's pretty good. Then you fill the last 120 with either stingersx2, or ratsx3, or Krug, depending on what you're afraid of. Deathreavers x3 is probably the strongest in general, but it leaves you in a world of hurt against Q9.

Yeah, Kaemon Awa is a very good option as well. The only thing is that Braxas does a lot of the same things for this army that Kaemon Awa would, but meanwhile this army doesn't have an answer for large soulborgs or massed commons.

It depends what you expect to be facing.

Expect Q9/Q10/Charos/Jotun? Add Krug.

Expect Gladiatrons or Knights or 4th? Add rats.

Not sure what to expect? Add stingers.

Expect lots of rats and range, and want a backup for Braxas? Add Kaemon Awa.

Bahde, I suspect you're right that elvinleader meant Iskra+Rechets+Marcu. But of course, that doesn't really fill the holes in this army.

Ooh, good call... they also help with defense against ranged common units for both Cyprien and Braxas (Smoke Powder!). Very, very nice choice there, and still easy on the order markers.

As an aside, Newguy played the Krug version of this, with Marcu in stead of Sonya to get under 500 points, in A_Train's 8-player home tournament - the Herocup.

He does quite well. He loses in the semifinals, to Minions and Krav, of all things.

He never sees a KoW or 4th or 'tron army, though, so my guesses as to the army's weaknesses against those are untested. Krug solves the Q9 weakness, unless Q9 has a rat screen to hold up Krug.

In looking at the KRS Won TTO army, I'm thinking about taking out Kaemon Awa and one squad of stingers and putting in Zelrig.

I'm thinking that Stingers and his Awasomeness target pretty much the same class of enemies and that Zelrig would help diversify the army a bit.

Am I off track? What do you think?

It's a strong army. Using Zelrig definitely changes the strategic flow of the army - you have to decide whether you want to go for the quick Z-bomb to start, or just get your rats in place.

The biggest thing KA brings to the table that stingers don't is a ranged special, which is great for rat-killing (and Drake-killing, I guess). If you went with Nilfheim in stead of Zelrig, you wouldn't be giving that up.
