Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout
I believe this was the first boat themed game but I would be interested in suggestions.

Just hit "man of the cloth'. Thanks to all my fans for the rep. Especially Bats. Those 10 point hits really add up.

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout
I've been working on reorganizing my C3G figures in order to make it easier to find the figure you are looking for. I ended up deciding to sort the figures based on class and then changed how I stored those figures. Different classes were combined in order to fill out each container. Here is what I ended up with:
6 large, 25 medium, & 8 small Tupperware like containers. They all pack in to a single storage container for easy transport. Printed out labels for each lid detailing which classes were stored in each one. After picking up a few more figures I now have only one figure pulling double duty (1 figure for two different cards with different classes), that is Mystique. Otherwise if a character has more than one card with different classes, then they have one mini for each class. All totaled, I now have 627 figures (this is inflated some by squads) stored as seen above, with an additional 12 large figures that are kept separately. Not every one is packed full though, so I have lots for room for more figures and cards! Last edited by Yodaking; March 21st, 2016 at 09:00 PM. |

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout
Nice! I'm still building up my minis collection, so I haven't needed a sorting system yet. I did just pick up a couple hundred figures and outgrow my original container, though, so something's bound to give there.
EDIT: Not sure exactly where my official figure count is at this point, but I'd guess around 400 figures, more or less split evenly between C3G-official minis (or proxies thereof) and minis that don't have C3G designs yet (either because I like/probably plan on LDing the character, or because I got the mini in a batch of randoms). |

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout
Yeah, no idea what my official figure count is either, and sadly no money to buy new ones (though I did sneak a couple of really cheap ones in with my recent board game order, including Shimmer. ).
I know I still have several figures we haven't designed and don't have several we have (which isn't surprising, given we've completed 645 figure designs at this point!). C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout
Reviews for BvS are not overly positive. Rotten Tomatoes has it currently at 41% with 51 out of 85 reviews being rotten. In comparison, Deadpool only has 40 rotten review out of 250. I've been skimming through both good and bad reviews to see if the hate is just comic book movie hate in general by some critics and these are the trends I have noticed across most reviews.
*no actual spoilers below, but just in case someone wanted to go in completely blind to what the critics are saying.
Spoiler Alert!

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout
I thought Man of Steel was underrated and good but not great. I certainly had complaints, but overall felt like it was worthy of watching (and rewatching). Miles ahead of something like Green Lantern. I anticipate this will be about the same, and nothing in the spoilers there really surprises me (especially the Jessie as Lex bit - terrible direction to take the character in, IMO).
In other news, finally finished Daredevil. Good stuff. No complaints. Excited about the metric ton of possibilities for Season 3. What's next in the Netflix Superhero cycle? Iron Fist? C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout
Subpar director and writer make sequel to subpar film: results are subpar. Can't say I'm shocked.
Best case scenario, this underperforms enough to get WB to shift gears and dump Snyder and Goyer, but not enough for them to scrap everything else. Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, and Affleck's Batman all have potential, and I'd hate to lose them. It's just a shame that Superman's corner of the universe has been thoroughly torpedoed.
