Is it legal to replace a figure

Is it legal to use a figure to replace another broken figure if the replacement is same size and has reletively the same or less hit zone?

Or will I just have to make the broken one a custom?

For fun home play its fine if you house rule it but is not allowed in competative play.

Tournament Legal - no.

For use at home - if line of site questions exist and it is a squad figure, replace it with another member of the squad, as that is perfectly fair. If it is a hero, just use one that looks pretty much the same.

I agree with the previous two posts, though even among "competitive" events you may find that some groups are more comfortable with a replacement. I know it would probably be a hard sell at the Tree Town Open, but I have read about other tournaments that seem to be made up of a small group of more casual friends.
