My standby is Frankenstein, Dragon Man and Wendigo at 990. Love that army. Pretty versatile for essentially bruisers and just fun to run. My uncanny luck with Frank helps a lot.

I don't know if anyone else here was ever a City of Heroes/City of Villains player, but in case anyone is and hasn't heard already: after a whole lot of drama and uncertainty, 7 years after the game shut down, there is a fan-run unofficial server running that is open to the public.

There's still a lot of uncertainty, this could be a temporary server or it could be a long term thing, the possibility of a Cease & Desist from NCsoft who owns City of Heroes is certainly a possibility, other private servers are likely to pop up sometime in the future, etc.

Either way for anyone who misses playing City of Heroes, or who didn't get to try the game before it shut down, at least for the time being there is a way to play it.

Is there still a card printer program that does multiple cards on a sheet? If so is it updated with new releases (and unreleased) like before? Trying to catch up here!

I'm sure most people are going to be talking about Endgame (I'm seeing it Sunday) but I do want to mention, now that I'm about 7 episodes in: Doom Patrol might be the best superhero TV show ever. It's a great set of character dramas, tiptoes into the absurd pretty often, with surprisingly deep cuts and comic book vibes.

Superheroes are at their best when they function as explicit metaphor, and it's a perfect realization of the Doom Patrol as "internal 'othering' made explicitly external."

Just started the 4th episode, and yeah I’m enjoying it. All the changes to the characters naturally feel “off” to me but it honestly seems to be working for them so far. I think I’m just so familiar with the characters acting one way that seeing them be different is a bit jarring. Overall the show is definitely a recommend though. It has a unique tone that really feels all its own and Cyborg is a way better fit than I thought he’d be.

Haven't checked out Doom Patrol yet, but most of the way through season 1 of Titans and the advertising definitely did them no favors. It's a lot, lot better than I thought it'd be. I probably like it better than any of the Arrowverse at this point (though most of those shows have been on long enough to have highs and lows).
