Well, it is safe to say that both are not as pretty in hand as online, but I find the newer stuff more pleasing to the eye.

Hmm... I think the new mini looks better, but prefer the size of the older one. I'm fine with either (depending on how good/bad the old one looks in person).

Well, older minis are hit or miss for paint jobs I find. I have seen eyes painted on cheeks more than once (Lex Luthor and Mr. Hyde) or not at all. (Toyman)

- THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them.

- What should be the unit's point value? 220-230
- Give a brief overview. Healing Factor is a beast in one-on-ones, especially against single-attack heroes. Still, Mister Hyde stumbled enough times on the way to make me think his cost can’t be much above 230, and it certainly won’t be as more without his being able to dominate Order Markers in army tests.

Units: Mister Hyde vs. Daredevil (180)
This was a marathon of back and forth, with Mister Hyde rolling for Blind Rage, sometimes upping his attack and sometimes not, then attacking, then Daredevil sometimes dodging with Radar Sense and sometimes not, then Mister Hyde healing, then Daredevil attacking back. Mister Hyde healed 9 wounds in all to further slow it down. He got three quick wounds on Daredevil, but the Radar Sense started getting hotter and Daredevil lasted long enough to make this one painful.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Mister Hyde with 2 Wounds wins Turn 1, Round 6.

TEST 2

Units: Mister Hyde vs. Daredevil (180)
This one was a lot quicker, with more wounds flying around. Mister Hyde still healed 4 wounds, but Daredevil rolled more skulls earlier and got enough initiative wins to pile multiple wounds on Hyde here.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Daredevil with 2 Wounds wins Turn 3, Round 3.

TEST 3

Units: Mister Hyde vs. Asgardian Warrior (190)
Mister Hyde rolled well on Blind Rage and piled on the skulls, easily countering what the Asgardian Warrior did, averaging 3 skulls thanks to his special attack hitting enough shields. Mister Hyde healed 2 wounds in all.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Mister Hyde with 1 Wound wins Turn 2, Round 2.

TEST 4

Units: Mister Hyde vs. Asgardian Warrior (190)
This was much the same as the last test, with the Shield Bash providing reliable skulls, and Mister Hyde healing 2 wounds and rolling plenty of skulls with his normal attack and Blind Rage.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Mister Hyde with 2 Wounds wins Turn 2, Round 2.

TEST 5

Units: Mister Hyde vs. Black Panther (200)
Lots of back and forth here, with Vibranium Armor making Black Panther tough to wound. Black Panther got in a big 3 wound attack early thanks in part to pulling off a Stealth Pounce from behind a tree. Mister Hyde came back, though, healing 8 wounds in all, and using a big 19 roll from Blind Rage to finally finish Black Panther off. No multiple attacks really makes it hard to put down heroes with Healing Factor one-on-one.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Mister Hyde with 2 Wounds wins Turn 1, Round 4.

TEST 6

Units: Mister Hyde vs. Black Panther (200)
Black Panther had great luck here, rolling 5 skulls on back-to-back turns thanks to an initiative switch, and taking Mister Hyde down. Mister Hyde never hit higher than an 11 for Blind Rage and only healed 3 wounds.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Black Panther with 1 Wound wins Turn 1, Round 3.

TEST 7

Units: Mister Hyde vs. Spider-Woman (210)
Spider-Woman’s venom blasts weren’t powerful enough to consistently wound Mister Hyde, and he healed the 3 wounds they did cause with ease. Her Pheromones only stopped him on one of five rolls. Blind Rage helped Mister Hyde generate some big attacks and clean Spider-Woman’s clock.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Mister Hyde with Full Life wins Turn 3, Round 2.

TEST 8

Units: Mister Hyde vs. Spider-Woman (210)
Mister Hyde won initiative in Round 3 to finish this off, then healed one of his only two wounds received here. Spider-Woman was hitting her Pheromone rolls early, going 3 of 6 all together, but couldn’t muster more than 2 skulls on any attack and only hit Mister Hyde for wounds on time as a result. Mister Hyde only boosted his attack by one once, but it was all he needed against Spider-Woman’s poor attack rolls.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Mister Hyde with 1 Wound wins Turn 1, Round 3.

TEST 9
Map: Custom
Units: Mister Hyde vs. Hasbro Captain America (220)
Mister Hyde was rolling hot and nasty throughout and Cap couldn’t roll a skull on attack or a shield on defense most of the game. He managed to put 2 wounds on Mister Hyde anyway, which Mister Hyde healed one of. Counter Strike never came into play.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Mister Hyde with 1 Wound wins Turn 1, Round 2.

TEST 10

Units: Mister Hyde vs. Hasbro Captain America (220)
Mister Hyde’s rolls were strong here as well, but Cap slipped in a couple of strong attacks, including a 5 skull attack that Mister Hyde only rolled 1 shield against to end it. Counter Strike again did not come into play, despite many opportunities.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Captain America with 1 Wound wins Turn 1, Round 2.

Despite never managing to attack more than one Beat Cop in a turn, and in part due to being able to hold height against a number of attacks, but mostly due to the weak attack of 2 from the Cops, Mister Hyde rarely got wounded, and healed all four wounds he took, while punching out a Cop nearly every turn he was engaged.

- Give a brief overview. This was the closest game that Mister Hyde won, but healers don’t usually win close.

Spoiler Alert!

The Hand Ninja had tons of height on Mister Hyde and multiple attacks, but their attack rolls failed to get skulls consistently enough. They did finally get in some good rolls in Rounds 4 and 5 and got Mister Hyde up to 4 wounds once, but he healed 8 wounds in all and picked off Ninja consistently. He only got in multiple attacks on Ninja a couple of times here, but it didn’t matter.

This was a nice close one with the Masters of Evil perhaps having a slight advantage due to their extra attacks against Cap and the Avengers. This helped Mister Hyde out quite a bit as he killed Moon Knight outright when the Fighter came to the MoE startzone to take on Baron Zemo, he managed to get in the last wound on Spidey after Spidey ran through Electro, Shocker, Trapster, and Zemo (Cap took out Scorpion before being the first to fall), and Mister Hyde put 5 wounds on Hercules to go with 2 Scorpion put on him early. Test of Might and Masters of Evil, combined with Blind Rage, really had Mister Hyde’s attacks amped up here, which accounted for his ability to go hard after Hercules. Hercules attacked bigger, though, and put the last 4 wounds on Mister Hyde in one big attack. Mister Hyde healed 4 wounds here.

Spoiler Alert!

This was a complete slaughter, with Thor plowing through both Dragon Man and Mister Hyde, and catching Mister Hyde without Order Markers while getting him up to a quick 4 wounds. Mister Hyde lived long enough to put one wound on Thor and heal one wound. Loki hit one of seven rolls for God of Evil, but did manage to get a second wound on Balder (Dragon Man got the first) and another 5 wounds on Thor before dying. I decided to replay this one.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Thor with 2 Life, Balder with 5 lives, and Iron Man Mark II with Full Life win Turn 1, Round 5.

Loki led the pack this time and 3 of 8 rolling for God of Evil helped him put down Thor by himself while still unwounded, and then put 5 wounds on Balder while taking 5 back. Mister Hyde came in next and his first attack ended up allowing Balder to heal, his second attack caused one wound for Balder and an unfortunate final two wounds on Loki, and Balder took him out after that with a series of big attack rolls. Dragon Man came in next and finally put Balder down, resulting in one wound for Iron Man Mark II. Dragon Man took four wounds from Balder before falling, though. Iron Man Mark II got off the first attack in end game, rolling 4 skulls for his special attack, which finished a hapless Dragon Man off.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Iron Man with 3 Lives wins Turn 1, Round 6.
