Re: Mister Hyde - Design Phase
If you need some help, I could probably grab this at some point. quozl's got the Sidekick test to cover and his own initial coming up soon for Frankenstein.
Is the SP ready to go? C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Mister Hyde - Design Phase
Since I don't have the figure, the only thing in the SP in question is the height. Other than that, have at it.

Re: Mister Hyde - Design Phase
Cool. I'll try to determine the height and run him at some point this week.

Re: Mister Hyde - Design Phase
Which mini are you planning to use? This or this? The first one is borderline 5-6, while the second is definitely 5.
EDIT: Nevermind. Answer is in the OP. Semi-Retired C3G Hero (and first Official Member of the C3G Target Audience!) The correct way to add C3G playtests to posts. My favorite day EVER on heroscapers. Re: Mister Hyde - Design Phase
I don't have a preference. If there's a clear leaning towards the one with the bad hair, that's fine by me.

Re: Mister Hyde - Design Phase
Well, it is safe to say that both are not as pretty in hand as online, but I find the newer stuff more pleasing to the eye.

Re: Mister Hyde - Design Phase
Hmm... I think the new mini looks better, but prefer the size of the older one. I'm fine with either (depending on how good/bad the old one looks in person).

Re: Mister Hyde - Design Phase
Well, older minis are hit or miss for paint jobs I find. I have seen eyes painted on cheeks more than once (Lex Luthor and Mr. Hyde) or not at all. (Toyman)

C3G INITIAL PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM
NAME OF THE TEST UNIT (MISTER HYDE) - THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them. PASS - MIRROR TEST/ Check to see if the unit were played against itself, if there would be any loops that would upset the balance of the Game. PASS - BONDING TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing Bonding abilities to make sure there are no continual Bonding possibilities that do not stop appropriately or do not stop at all. This is to prevent loops in Bonding. PASS - SYNERGIES TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing synergies to make sure there are no factors that could break the game by making any unit to powerful or too weak. PASS - POWER CHECK/ Consider the test unit and all existing units and all glyphs to compare to and check for any powers that could be over amplified and break the game. Each power must define when it takes place, who or what it affects, and What are the stipulations on the power if there are any. PASS Like any healer, his survivability can make him really nasty in some match ups, but army tests and opportunity strikes can obscure much of this. - FUN TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play. PASS - FUN COMPETITIVE TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play against. PASS - DRAFTING TEST/ Consider whether or not this design is worth drafting. PASS - USAGE TEST/ Consider whether or not all of the powers on this card were used or at least usable. PASS - STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game. PASS Heavy Hitter or Mid-Level Hero Test - Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes - What should be the unit's point value? 220-230 - Give a brief overview. Healing Factor is a beast in one-on-ones, especially against single-attack heroes. Still, Mister Hyde stumbled enough times on the way to make me think his cost can’t be much above 230, and it certainly won’t be as more without his being able to dominate Order Markers in army tests.
Spoiler Alert!
_____________________________________________________________ Squad Test - Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes - What should be the unit's point value? 230+ - Give a brief overview. Mister Hyde’s combination of 5 defense, 5 lives, and healing made him too tough to put down here. Map: Custom Units: Mister Hyde vs. Beat Cops x3 (195)
Spoiler Alert!
_____________________________________________________________ Squad Test - Does it pass, Yes or No? Maybe - What should be the unit's point value? 260 - Give a brief overview. This was the closest game that Mister Hyde won, but healers don’t usually win close. Map: Custom Units: Mister Hyde vs. Hand Ninja x3 (255)
Spoiler Alert!
_____________________________________________________________ Army Test - Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes - What should be the unit's point value? 260 - Give a brief overview. Mister Hyde felt perfectly balanced here. Map: Custom Units: Mister Hyde (260), Electro (135), Scorpion (200), Baron Zemo (170), Shocker (160), Trapster (75) (1,000) vs. Captain America (240), Moon Knight (150), Spider-Man (250), Hercules (360) (1,000)
Spoiler Alert!
_____________________________________________________________ Army Test - Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes - What should be the unit's point value? ? - Give a brief overview. Thor destroyed all here. Map: Custom Units: Mister Hyde (260), Loki (420), Dragon Man (320) (1,000) vs. Thor (430), Balder (420), Iron Man Mark II (150) (1,000)
Spoiler Alert!
_____________________________________________________________ Army Test - Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes - What should be the unit's point value? 240-250 - Give a brief overview. Mister Hyde didn’t do much here, as he was out of his league against Balder. Map: Custom Units: Mister Hyde (260), Loki (420), Dragon Man (320) (1,000) vs. Thor (430), Balder (420), Iron Man Mark II (150) (1,000)
