That is an amazingly structured tower!, must've taken you hours! By the way what sets does it use? I like the natural look to it!

5MS Tower for Campaign
A map I made as a part of a 3-part campaign I'm planning. There are special places for certain story-specific things, which I won't go into detail about, for now. I just thought it was a pretty neat map and wanted to share. It doesn't have a name yet - for now it's called "Tower". As I work on the scenario I'll come up with a name for it. It''s approximately 60 levels high. All areas are easily accessable to figures and hands. Interesting note - after taking pictures of it, I realized that the top of it looked like it had a face in it, (couldn't tell if it was an insane clown, a sad king, or Super Mario, so I changed it. You'll see both versions in the pictures. Hope you think it's neat. It's the better part of 5 ROTV, 3 Castles, 1 SotM, 1 HLD, 1 Marvel, and several boosters. Quote:
I list the sets used in the first post. The nice thing about it is, even though it's such a tall tower with a lot of open space - it's solid as a rock. Very sturdy. And even though it's so tall, all levels are accessable, and due to the positioning of ladders and roads (walkwalk), it's easy to maneuver around, even with non-flyers. Yes! though it sags a little bit, it was just fine for playing on. If you laid a bowling ball on it, it would have probably come crashing down.... with the column, it's extremely sturdy.
In fact, that column wasn't part of the original design. I added it in during building, when I realized I had four end pieces left over. It looks much better with it, and it filled the space perfectly. I'm really curious now, so I'm going to try the bowling ball test on this new design. MUAHA! I'll post results later. |

Bowling Ball on top to demonstrate strength.
Ball is 16LB ball - heaviest type of bowling ball made. (There probably are specialty balls or something that are heavier, but i'm talking about what you usually see at the bowling alley) I had to move some battlements and tiles so the bowling ball wouldn't roll off, but otherwise i just put it there. no careful balancing or anything. The tower could probably hold 3 or four of these if there was a way to balance it. Just showing because I was surprised at the strength of the whole thing when it was finished. |

Very cool looking map!
Kind of reminds me of the secret garden in Shadow of the Colossus. Now for the building instructions... |

If I were to clean this up in virtualscape, do you think people would build it? I didn't think anyone would bother.
