txedomask's maps

Here are a few maps that I threw together in my spare time. I would appreciate some input on them for things to improve on future maps. All maps are built using my personal collection and most are easily modified with other tiles to fit smaller collections.

Mountain Top - 4 RotV (replacing 2-hex sands at the top with grass and/or rock), three glacier sets, three forest sets, four castle sets. Battlements are generally put along the bridges on the second and third floors. There are supposed to be ladders leading to the tops of each of the towers on the top floor. This one is my current favorite.

Highway Original - One RotV set with extra ruins, One Forest set with extra trees.

http://www.heroscapers.com/download/index.php?dlid=797

Highway modified for 4p - Two master sets worth of tiles, ruins from six master sets and tress from three forest sets. Road tiles from three forest sets but can be adapted to two using single hex tiles.

Collapsed Aquaduct - Two RotV sets, One Castle set, trees from three forest sets. (Tx needs jungle sets for mo' trees!)

http://www.heroscapers.com/download/index.php?dlid=796

Swamp of Sorrow - Seven RotV sets, six or seven SotM sets for the swamp water mostly, four castle sets, and four forest sets. I put a ladder piece in the places where ladders would go, just didn't complete them as they should be.

The Labrynth - As is, it is five master sets due to the amount of stone tiles, but it can easily be adapted to two master sets by replacing some tiles. Also requires four castle sets and four forest sets for the bridges.

Waterfields - Uses single hex tiles from 10 master sets, water from seven, bridges from four forest sets. First person to occupy three glyphs of brandar wins.

http://www.heroscapers.com/download/?dlid=1050

Infested Castle - 7 RotV, 1 SotM, 4 FotA, 2 RotFF, 1 TT. 2v1. The goal of the two players in the grass starting areas is to eliminate the marro threat in the castle. Neither of these teams may draft marro units. The player in the castle must draft an all marro army.

Zone War - 7 RotV, 4 FotA, 4 RotFF. Green areas are safe areas. You may not be attacked, engaged or affected by any glyph (beneficial or detrimental) while in a safe area. Stone is a kill zone. Any figure in a kill zone may be attacked by any other figure no matter what are the attacking figure is in. Water is a combat zone. Figures may only be attacked by other figures in a combat zone.

You may win one of two ways. The first is to simply eliminate all of your opponents. The second is to capture the glyph of brandar from an opposing army by taking it to your glyph's starting spot. If this is done, the opposing army is eliminated from the map.

It was hard to get a good shot of the lower map due to the amount of pillars supporting the upper portion.

I have some others somewhere I will post later on.

Not only should there be pictures here as mentioned already, but it would also be nice if you put set requirements for the builds. The mountain top map looks pretty sweet, but just looking at the pictures on the download page, I am having a hard time guessing as to what's required to build it.

Working on the pictures atm, will see if I can get it to display the correct amount of sets. The mountain one is showing as 10 master sets, yet I only have 7 enabled in the materials and nothing is showing that it is over usage that I can tell.

If you use Marvel, SotM, or extra tiles, it adds it as though you need more RotV sets when you verify the map.

Waterfields is COOOOL!!!!! I really like that one the best out of all of them. That looks like it would be a blast to play on.

Visit the SHS Map Codex!
(Codex downloadable into a spreadsheet for easy self-sorting)
Note to self: One ladder for every TWO levels!!!!!!

Re: txedomask's maps

It's been awhile since I have been on the forums. Were the downloads cleaned up and some files deleted? I lost alot of information recently and was trying to recover these files.
