Re: The Book of Demogorgon Stalker - VOTE for Playtesting
I lost the thread a bit here, so to clarify: were any of the initial playtests done with the version currently in the SP?
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Demogorgon Stalker - VOTE for Playtesting
It seems like they're significant enough changes that it's worth having at least one test done with them before moving to public testing.

Re: The Book of Demogorgon Stalker - VOTE for Playtesting
Changes on the first power ultimately weren't super substantial. You can Demogorgons out quicker, but still can only drag one thing to the Upside Down at a time. Second power, now that I look at it, I think needs some shoring up to not have weird loops going on.

Re: The Book of Demogorgon Stalker - VOTE for Playtesting
I think we made them Large to cancel out loops unless there are other powers that would interact weird with that. I kinda liked the idea of them having like a death grip on the weaker target even if they were moved, but if that's seen as too much I guess I could see that. Like if it interacts weird with throwing powers it could be dropped as well, but I could also see like Magneto throw one, but it has like a civilian in its grasp so they go flying with it. It was kinda Dead By Daylight inspired since they carry victims around.
-edit Oh are you saying this would enable some start zone shenanigans or stuff from leaving the Upside Down after porting to it? |

Re: The Book of Demogorgon Stalker - VOTE for Playtesting
The current wording has you placing the opponent's figure adjacent whenever you move or are moved. So, when you first teleport over to them, you could move/place, then you could move when you do your actual move. And it probably needs a "this turn" or you can get real real weird with placement and movement power stacking.
The wording doesn't necessarily create new shenanigans so much as weird loops that open itself up to weird movement power interactions. |
