I like where you are headed with the SA! I'm leaning 3 attacks of 3, seems SPAM worthy which is what this power was initially in MK2. (It was the last MK that I remember spending $20 in quarters on at a time and playing in the arcade.)

Putting it all together, this is where we're at with this:

I'm not actually sure it does. To me, it still reads as just replacing one attack. I know the intent, but I'm just not sure this wording adequately covers it. Maybe something more like "Each time Liu Kang could make a normal attack, you may instead...."
Also, I wonder if we shouldn't actually call out half of a units life, rounded down, on Enter Dragon (it would still be 2 life in most cases). To me, it would get across better that he is biting them in half. Every other comment I had has been addressed already. Good work Ark |

We can hash out the wording, as long as we're all clear on the intended mechanics, I think we're in a good place. After putting it on the card, font size is kept large, with all 4 powers being short and concise, which is what I was aiming for here.
Liu Kang is generally one of the easiest characters to learn in the games, and I like continuing that here. He's got 4 simple powers that allow for any level of player to get good use out of. I think the balance between his several options for dealing damage, combined with his potential self attack boost and ally defense boost, gives the player plenty of fun and decision making to be had. So unless there's any other ideas or strong desires remaining, I'll probably call for an Initial vote later tonight or tomorrow so I can hit this over the weekend. |

Been over 24 hours with no addition comments or suggestions, so I'll take that as being good to move forward.
I propose a vote to move to Initial Playtesting. |

Yea. I'm interested in seeing how the gameplay aligns (or doesn't) with our presumptions of the powers on paper.

Me too. You can only theorize so much. Sometimes you just need to get in there and try it to see if it’s any good/fun.

Worried about the openness of the defensive boost. Cap, Sue and an OM mover could make for some solid +4 Defense.

The boost is only active when the 2 OMs are on his card, so you’d be spending 2 of your turns on Cap and Liu(with the X as well), unless I’m missing something.
