Character Bio - Bibbo Bibbowski is the owner of the Ace of Clubs bar. He is an avid fan of Superman, known for his appreciation and tales of the hero. He has worked with Emil Hamilton to help Superman against Doomsday, and has himself patrolled the slums to help those in need following the death of Superman.

First, cut the head off the Mugger (Or The Burglar, same sculpt) and Harvey. Glue the Mugger's head on Harvey's body like so:



Paint his hat, coat, and shoes blue. You'll notice yellow on the shirt. That's where I forgot the shirt was white, so yeah, don't do that.



Paint his hands a skin tone to match his face.



Now, if you're anything like me, you're a bit of a klutz with a brush. So you may have to paint the pants grey if you got any blue on them:



Now just make his shirt white. If you're real good and clever, you could shave off the tie, but we're keeping it simple here:

Should be "Figure you control named Superman". Identity is what is checked when drafting which is the Secret Identity/Name if there is no SI. Name is separate and there are no figures with an Identity of Superman.

Not really getting the theme of that power anyways. He's a regular human who teleports in when Superman dies and then bonds with anyone because he was a fan of the guy who died?

Also not sure you need the rest of the game language there unless you have a weird goal of him being an OM hub when he dies which again doesn't make much sense to me.

Ah yeah that's right.

I mean, the "teleporting" was supposed to be a bit more showing up in the aftermath of Supes dying. When Supes actually died, he basically went out and tried to rally people and essentially keep things going, so its trying to capture that theme. Kind of a "carrying on the symbol" sort of thing.

I think the "for the remainder of the game" thing was holdover text from an early draft where he was always present. Dude owns a bar and wouldn't really be out there at the start of things because in his mind, Supes has got it. If something bad happens to Supes, he's absolutely going to be (kind of a dummy) and run out to try and carry the torch.

I think going for something a bit more like Behind Granite and Lime and then giving him a free move whenever Superman dies would sell that theme better personally. But I do appreciate the explanation.

I'd streamline it and drop the whole "protected until Superman dies" bit and just let him be the bonding OM hub after Superman dies. If someone decides to target him first, well:

1. Most Superman designs are built around protecting other figures anyway, and
2. Then the opponent wasted their turns going after a low offensive out put figure and gave you a chance to whale on them with Superman

Thematically speaking, he's a civilian living in Metropolis. If the bad guys wanted to target him and take him out, they could.

Yeah I don't think he needs a granite and lime style protection if he's gonna start on the battlefield, so trimmed down would be like:

Looks good, though. I think in general folks are fonder of civvie cards that are on the lean side.

Yep, totally fine with him staying lean here, and the nature of Superman builds and such makes sense. He's one that will likely have some crossover to Justice League builds, as he may ultimately like Superman (JLII) better than most other Supermen.

50/70/90 would be where I'd want to land points wise. 90 is unshared, 70 only shares with Streaky, who is more a Supergirl add on than Superman, and 50 is Jimmy, who isn't a great add on by himself.

With the revised version of Superman's Biggest Fan, I've got him about 45-55 on the calculator, so I'd probably try him at 50. Turn bonding is valuable, but it's also risky when your Order Marker hub is easy to one-shot.

Updated to 4 life, as he is a bit hardy that it felt justified. Additionally put a 6 space limit on the bonding that I felt offset the point increase of upping the life a bit. He's out doing stuff, not like, calling the shots from his bar. Also added the no additional turns language.

I propose we move to Initial Testing.

COMPETITIVE REVIEW BOARD CHECKLIST

Efficiency- Check to see if your design is providing armies with turns/moves/etc. to a degree that would make it difficult or impossible for an opponent to keep up with your output.

1. Does your design allow itself or figures to move/attack/take a turn/etc. instead of/in addition to your normal turn for revealing an Order Marker? Is it granting these benefits to too broad a range of units? Does it combine with other powers to create overly long or powerful chains of actions?

It is a broad range of bonding, but he's cheap, easy to kill, and bonding is also super condiitonal.

2. Does your design allow you to take actions during an opponent's turn? Can it combine with other powers to create tediously long reactions to enemy actions or a restrictive environment?

Nope.

3. Does your design allow you to rearrange your Order Markers or otherwise bypass the costs of Order Marker requirements on the special powers of other figures?

Not really no.

4. Is your design doing anything outside of a player's turn, at the start or end of the round? Is the effect too powerful by itself or when combined with other powers?

Nope.

5. Does your design have any powers that trigger anytime it moves as opposed to only when it moves normally on its turn? Will it be too efficient when combined with figures that grant extra moves to figures?

Nope.

6. Is your design adding or subtracting from initiative rolls? Will it pair too easily with other figures that alter initiative or have powers triggering on the results of initiative rolls?

Nope.

Potency- Check to see if your design is wounding/removing/etc. enemy figures, increasing the chances of other figures in your army doing so, or otherwise directly effecting the number of figures available to players to a degree that would make it difficult or impossible for an opponent to recover from.

1. Does your design have a chance to inflict wounds or destroy figures? Is it getting these chances too frequently or having to high a chance of success? Is the power balanced against expensive targets that can cause a massive swing in the game when destroyed?

Nope.

2. Is your design adding to the stats or 20-sided die rolls of other figures in your army? Is it a boosting a broad enough range of units effectively enough to become a 'mandatory' draft or inhibit future design space? Can it be combined with other boosts too easily?

Nope.

3. Will your design benefit from stat boosts or other enhancement to an overpowering degree? Will it restrict future growth within its faction or point cost by limiting available boosts to others?

Nope.

4. Does your design take control of enemy figures permanently or temporarily? Is it too difficult to for your opponent to regain control of their figure or recover from the losing the figure? Does the method of taking control expose the enemy figure to the powers of other figures in your army that can easily destroy it?

Nope.

5. Can your design heal itself or others or revive itself or others? Is it doing so in a way that an opponent cannot hope to overcome in certain scenarios?

Could have been a sit in the back hub, but felt wrong so changed it.

I mean, you could kill your own Superman to unlock his bonding, but that seems like a bad plan.

Upped to 4, as he's definitely sturdier than your average kid, but by no means superhuman or anything.
