Re: Toronto NHSD: Oct 16th
Special Rules
1.Capture the flag Setup: 24 space standard starting zones. Each player will have a Glyph of Brandar to defend. Players can win by ending a turn with one of their figures unengaged and on the opponent’s Glyph. Tournament is played in one hour rounds. Maps contain 2 random power glyphs. 2. Kill the General Setup: 11 space starting zones. Players nominate a unique hero as their General. Player place their General and one other unit in their staring zone to begin the game. All other units start in reserve. To win players must eliminate are opponents General. Tournament is played in one-hour rounds. Maps contain 2 random power glyphs. Special Rules: This is an Escalating Encounter mission. One reserve unit, chosen by the player, maybe automatically brought on to the battlefield at the being of each round. Before placing Order Markers place that unit on any empty spaces at the back edge of your starting zone. Airborne Elite roll as normal enter play. 3. Treasure Hunt Setup: 24-space standard starting zones. 5 Treasure Glyphs will be placed on the map plus 2 Additional Treasure Glyphs of Brandar will be added to glyph pool. A failed trap roll on a Treasure Glyph results in a 3-die attack being levelled at the Hero, rolled by the opponent. The affected Hero may roll defense dice. Game ends once all 7 Treasure Glyphs have been REVEALED. The player with the most Treasure Glyphs held by units they control, wins the game. If both players hold an equal number of Glyphs once all have been revealed, then play continues until one player's units hold more treasure glyphs than the opponent. Victory conditions checked at the end of each turn. 4. Save the Prisoner Setup: 24-space standard starting zones. Raelin II(SotM) starts in the middle of the battlefield and is never controlled by either player. Raelin never takes damage and cannot be destroyed. Raelin can not be the target of an attack and cannot be subjected to, nor affected by, any special ability. Figures may not pass through Raelin even if they have powers that allow them to move through figures. Raelin does not count to either player's point total. Her Defensive Aura is activated for the figures you control while you have at least one figure adjacent to her. If both players have a least one figure adjacent to her, then her Defensive Aura is not active. At the beginning of any of your turns, if a figure on the card that you are taking a turn with, is adjacent to Raelin and if your opponent doesn't have a figure adjacent to Raelin, then during your move phase, that figure may "drag" Raelin. If the chosen card has a special move ability such as flying, stealth flying, grapple, climb, leap, charge…etc that figure will be unable to use that special move ability during it's move phase. The chosen figure may not increase its move value from terrain or from any power on a glyph or card. Move the chosen figure. After you move that figure place Raelin adjacent to that figure. Raelin can be placed no more than 4 hexes away from where she was prior to the figure's move. Raelin can only be moved once per order marker. At the end of your move, if Raelin has been "drug" onto any of your starting zone hexes and is not adjacent to any of your opponent's figures, you win the game. Players can also win the game be destroying all of the opponent's figures. Special Rules: No Fly Zone. Glyph of Rannveig rules are in effect. All figures with the Flying special power lose this power and cannot fly. 5. King of the Hill Setup: 24-space standard starting zones. Each player will have a Glyph of Brandar to defend. Players can win by ending a turn enough their figures covering the target area. Tournament is played in one-hour rounds. Maps contain 1 random glyph. Special Rules: This is a Sustained Attack mission. For every complete card of a common unit eliminated from battle you may at the beginning of the next round before placing Order Markers, roll the D20.If you roll 15 or high you place that unit on any empty spaces at the back edge of your starting zone. You only roll for one unit per round. |

Re: Toronto NHSD: Oct 16th
I believe I can go. Is there an age restriction, because my brother wants to come too. Also, is it ok if I bring some things to trade?

Re: Toronto NHSD: Oct 16th
Odd number will not be a problem,
WE should have 10-12 people so this should be a good turn out. looking forward to seeing what everyone is bringing. Wriggz |

It was a good game and I hope you can make it to the next tournament for some revenge. Last edited by airdroppers; October 18th, 2010 at 03:26 PM. Reason: maybe I will play the airborne elite for once in a tournament.... probably not though Lol |
