Re: Gary's Heroscape Site
Some minor changes:
1) Better layout of the Glyph table with a sort on Power Name 2) Option to show/hide Sets in the Terrain table Last edited by GaryLASQ; October 16th, 2008 at 02:09 AM. Reason: Never mind about 3) Exposing the SVG |

Re: Gary's Heroscape Site
I've enjoyed your customs, the few that you have made. Any chance you might create some new traditional battlefields and scenarios?

Re: Gary's Heroscape Site
It would be fun to think up some new and interesting scenarios. The only thing I've done recently is hook some MOPs together for plain old kill-em-all scenarios. Hmm...

Re: Gary's Heroscape Site
For a number of reasons, my Heroscape site now comes in two flavors, "Anyone" and "Firefox-3 Users". http://heroscape.glasq.com/ (You might need to do a refresh, to see the change to the entrance page.)
The ability to download a local copy of the site is available again, but only for Firefox users. By making use of in-line SVG instead of external PNG files for map graphics, the download size shrunk by 90% and install size by 75%. (Firefox has fantastic support for SVG and can work with it better than any other browser, currently.) Also, the XForms add-on that vanished when Firefox went from v2 to v3 has returned for Firefox 3. So I plan to go back to experimenting on my site (the Firefox version of it) with XForms. Re: Gary's Heroscape Site
The Army Builder is back, for Firefox users with the XForms Add-on.
http://heroscape.glasq.com/tools.html It's not as clunky and slow as it used to be, but still a bit more clunky and slow than I'd like it to be. Still "under construction" but it works much better than it did before. It's also not as intuitive as I'd like either. Gonna have to add some Help and Hints to the form controls. For now, you can only print the results, but I plan to improve on this in the future with Save and Send (email) options. I also plan to add a few more filtering options that tap into special powers (synergy). Last edited by GaryLASQ; March 25th, 2022 at 12:00 AM. |

Re: Gary's Heroscape Site
Other than hit zone images, Brave Arrow and Mohican River Tribe are in the character tables.

Re: Gary's Heroscape Site
Thanks for the props!
For the Firefox users with the XForms addon, you can build armies with Brave Arrow and Mohican River Tribe. http://heroscape.glasq.com/tools.xhtml I know my army builder still needs some work, but it is usable. |
