Players will follow Standard Drafting rules (Page 7 SOTM rule book): 1. Both players roll the 20-sided die. Re-roll any ties. The higher roller drafts first by choosing one Army Card. 2. The other player then chooses two Army Cards 3. Each player, in turn, then chooses one Army Card, until both players' Armies have been completely chosen and placed When an Army Card is selected take the figure(s) shown on the card and place them in your starting zone immediately; place figures as you draft them. Armies drafted can not exceed 400 points. Each individual game will begin as soon as both players complete their draft. Players will have 1 hour to draft and complete their game. Timed out games will be decided by fractional point scoring (a surviving Krav is worth 33 points, a rat 10 points, Raelin 80 points, etc.). Players will be redrafting an army for each game. The figures you brought go with you to the next draft game/round. Tournament will be run Swiss style with (at least) 4 rounds. Marvel is NOT included. Date and Time: July 26th (Sunday) - The tournament will start at High Noon. Set-up will occur prior to the event. Location: Madness Comics A link to their site and address: http://www.madnessgames.com/ What You Need to Bring: Order markers, Wound Markers, Dice, and your Figures and an entry fee ($10). You may also donate a prize to the prize table. This is not mandatory by any means, but the more prizes the better the chances that Podwest might actually get to take something home (HA!). DrLivingston and Rym are putting up a complete set of Wave 9 as a prize. CheddarLimbo is donating Sir Gilbert, Jandar's Flagbearer Some donations in the past have included Heroclix figures with which to make customs, Anime videos/dvds, Magic cards, Custom made figures, Games that Imax reviewed and decided he never wanted to play again, Dice Towers, A Cracked Coffee Mug (which showed up several times as I recall), RotV 1st Edition Masterset with Sparkly Water (R˙chean showing off), A Notebook Containing the Biographies of Every Heroscape Figure, A Map of Valhalla blown up to poster size, Custom Heroscape Terrain, Old Roleplaying Games, a $100 bill (Rev making it rain), comic books, and of course a Heroscape Booster. Again this is completely voluntary, but it's a fun little tradition here in DFW. Maps: The Keyholes of Wolf Swamp Road The Keyholes of Wolf Swamp Road Download by Kahrma. This one has had a remake by DrLivingston to make it easier for units to access. I believe he added some height and ladders to make bridge access easier (above and below). When, and if, he has an updated image and build instructions, I will post it.
