The set ships with the Ticalla Jungle set this fall. There will be two large hero packs for each one jungle set in the shipping box. The full name of the large hero pack is Aquilla's Alliance: Heroes of the Quagmire. The average price will be around $20, same as previous large packs. The set contains five figures, all of which have double-sized bases. The figures are: 1.Wo-Sa-Ga, a worm/snake-like Marro creature for Utgar. 2.Zetacron, a Soulborg for Jandar. 3.Zelrig, a flying dragon for Einar. 4.SuJoah, a dragonfly-like giant insect for Aquilla. 5.Gurei-Oni, a one-eyed Asian Oni creature, similar to a Cyclops or perhaps a one-eyed troll. |

Oni are demons from Japanese folklore, not cyclopeses or trolls. Just wanted to clear that up and say that it's nice to see non-human units for Einar.

Did you seriously say 1 jungle and 2 heroes per box? That's crazy! Did they think that the Jungle set isn't going to sell as well as an expensive box of 5 unique figures? Did Orm's Return teach them nothing?

Although, I do agree that it's nice to see some asian mythology making its way to the Asian-themed general. I wish Zelrig looked a tad more Asian in design. |

Because Hasbro Marketing is smarter than you. They have super-high-level executive decision-making meetings that go something like this: Hasbro Marketer: Hey, kid! Which would you rather have, this box full of trees or this box full of cool monsters, including a DRAGON?? 6-year-old Kid: Cool! I want the dragon! Hasbro Marketer: That answer that question. Package these at least two-to-one for the dragon. Maybe even three-to-one. Hasbro Marketer 2: Excellent work. Now let's figure out how much we can bill the corporation for this decision! |
