Re: Age of Annihilation - Backer Trend and Discussion
I'm not sure why I'm being quoted there. I certainly do not want to discourage thoughtful criticism.
Please carry on. |

@Dad_Scaper
I appreciated your comment, bolded the portion I wanted to expand on, and added my own thoughts to it regarding the value of this discussion. I was not implying you were discouraging anyone. That’s not what I took from your comment.
AoA gets a very brief mention on the new Dice Tower podcast, At the Table with Tom and Eric with Emerson Matsuuchi (episode 13). Can’t stress how brief, but an interesting discussion on table presence and how huge the box is for AoA. Any press is good press right? EDIT: It’s between the 30-34 min mark of the podcast. Re: Age of Annihilation - Backer Trend and Discussion
the campaign still has steam left in it too. every day we’ve gained more backers, unlike the ghost rider project that started backsliding halfway through their campaign. we’ll be well over 3300 by the end of the day and we’ll more than likely have raised over a million sooner than later.

We have already passed 3300 today.

Re: Age of Annihilation - Backer Trend and Discussion
Numbers seem to be progressing well, although unfortunately a case of "too little too late". If we meet the halfway point of 4000 backers within the next 5 days then we still only have 5 days to find another 4000 backers.
Credit where credit is due: I wasn't expecting for them to make a comeback like that this late in the cycle. But either way, it's clear that there won't be enough for this project to get funded. What a complete mismanagement of this project |

Re: Age of Annihilation - Backer Trend and Discussion
If we can get to like 4K with a week left and 5K with 72 hours left, I think the late surge has a *chance*. But unlikely.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Age of Annihilation - Backer Trend and Discussion
Even with the recent numbers, you're not gonna find 600 backers in the next 3 days...

Re: Age of Annihilation - Backer Trend and Discussion
I'm really liking the look of EJ-1-M and the overall dawnraider faction more now that we've seen all of their cards. He's definitely the head of any pirate build, Being able to place order markers after initiative is insane, and if you're able to screen correctly he just seems like a true menace.

Re: Age of Annihilation - Backer Trend and Discussion
If the Pulse preorder fails to reach 8000 backers, do Hasbro still have the option to accept the lower number and still go ahead with the project?

Re: Age of Annihilation - Backer Trend and Discussion
Hasbro can do anything they want, and we're hoping they will somehow continue the offering. But they've said they will cancel Heroscape if the 8,000 funding goal is not met. And they've done this on previous Haslab offerings. However, Age of Annihilation is quite different from their previous ones in scope. So who knows what they will do after November 15? Its anyone's guess.
