With the Kraven change that gives at least three thematically appropriate 1000 point armies that can get the full bonus...I'm liking it.

I'm absolutely in favour of updating Kraven... if we also update Chameleon. Chap's another iconic Spidey-villain who's been part of the Sinister Six before, and whose class of Spy has consistently frustrated me in trying to build him into Spidey-villain based armies. Plus, Sinister feels like a fitting personality for him anyway.
Another Thief who likes the attack boost, off the top of my head, is Grey Gargoyle - no multi-attack, but makes his Touch of Stone a lot scarier when he's backing it up with 5 Attack.
Tempted to suggest making his class Scientist, though, for thematic purposes - being a Scientist is a large part of who Doc Ock is, that got (justifiably) shafted on his original card in favour of Criminal synergies. It'd be nice if it got a nod.

I do think there's one thing going against updating Chameleon, which is that I think it would be easier to do a vII of him - I have some ideas on that front that we've talked over before, I know.

Yeah, Scientist would be justifiable - I had that on a write-up for the Ultimate version of Ock (which I know I had laying around somewhere, but I now can't find it). He definitely does some Masterminding as well, though, and this feels like kind of a Mastermindy version.

Glad you dig it! No worries on keeping up - can't be plugged in all the time.

Unrelated note: maybe 'Master Planner' for the second power name? That's a Doc Ock specific name, which is something I'm trying to hold onto.

We don't have much if any Scientist synergy but we have talked about creating some, in which case I don't see him being a good fit in any future Scientist web due to the nature of this card being the formation of the Six. So I'd save Scientist for another version where he might play better in a team up or random other scientist (and/or engineers). If you really want a Mastermind version of him this seems like a decent fit. You could still add Hired Guns & Bodyguards to a 6 Hero army and not lose the bonuses. Use OM1 to take a turn with him each round and have the Bodyguards move out as a screen while the Hired Guns attack. Then OM2 & 3 still activate the other 5 heroes.

Mastermind makes the most sense for class here. Scientist Doc could happen later. Master Planner is a pretty generic power name for a pretty specific power. What about Supervillain Strike? Baleful Dispatch? Hunt the Spider? Just spitballing here.

Really happy about where this has landed. Pre-yea for initial testing.

'Master Planner' might seem generic, but it's actually an alias Ock uses sometimes! It's really very specific to him.
