Hey y’all, I'll be stepping in for a bit here while the Heroes are busy In-Sanctum cooking up 2.0 on the burners.

Seeing as how it's been a minute since our last nomination hit Public Playtesting, I made a few small changes on the usual refresher.

To inform the new folks and refresh those who have been away for a while, here's how this whole public design poll process works:

We'll have a week-long period during which anyone (be they C3G Hero, Legend, Sidekick, Ally, fan or just someone who wandered in here) can nominate a design they'd like to see run here in the public.

The only restriction here is that nominated designs have to be run by a Hero, Legend, Sidekick, or an Ally who has tested between the announcement of the last winner and the deadline for first round nominations. In addition, one cannot nominate their own design - spread the love! Also, designs by the winner of last round, toyhandle, cannot be nominated. For an idea of what you might want to nominate, check out the Public Design Workshop!

A week from now, when we have a bunch of nominations (ideally at least 8!), we will be sampling a week-long, ranked-choice, instant-runoff vote for the second and final round (assuming there is no tiebreaker).

For those unfamiliar, you'll be able to vote on your top 3 favorite designs, listing your favorite 1st and so on.
• If a design wins a majority of first-preference votes, that design is declared the winner.
• If no design wins a majority of first-preference votes, the design with the fewest first-preference votes is eliminated. First-preference votes cast for that design are eliminated, lifting the 2nd choices indicated on those votes. A new tally is conducted to determine whether any design has won a majority of the adjusted votes. The process is repeated until a design wins an outright majority.

Once a winner emerges, the winning design gets run in the public, at no cost to the lead designer!
