Yeah she generally has one or two good turns before dropping. She doesn't really add to the power of YJ teams, she just meshes well with them. Definitely keeping an eye on it just in case.

REACTIVE MIND CONTROL 14
If Empress is targeted and attacked by an opponent's figure that does not have the Mental Shield special power, roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 14 or higher, Empress takes no damage and the opponent's turn immediately ends. Take temporary control of the attacking figure. Move the attacking figure up to 4 spaces then return control of the figure to the player who controlled it before the Reactive Mind Control. Figures moved with this special power will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

- Give a brief overview. This was a crazy match. The Fan 4 dice were hot this game but Young Justice dealt a lot of wounds and fast. If the luck had been a little more even I think this would have been a little more of a balanced match. Thing had a few one shots which didn't help YJ in the least.

Fan 4 have initiative and Robin reveals the X. In T1 the Fan 4 advance; Robin and Wondergirl advance. In T2 Thing moved upand Fantastic engaged Robin and Wondergirland one shots Robin (4/4 skulls vs whiff!) and Secret appears giving Fantastic and Thing a wound each; Artemis moved up Netting Fantastic. In T3 Fantastic hit Secret for a wound; Batgirl moved up hitting Fantastic with a Batarang for 2 wounds.

The Fan 4 have initiative. In T1 Thing moves to engage Wondergirl taking a wound and he Clobbers her into the ground (6/8 dice (+3 & -1) vs 1/5shields) and Fantastic hits Secret for a wound; OM on Wondergirl. In T2 Thing disengages from Secret taking a wound and Clobbers Batgirl (+3) into the ground (4/9 skulls vs whiff!) and Fantastic gets all tangled up; Lobo takes Artemis' turn and engages Thing hitting him for 2 wounds and knocking him into engagement with Secret. In T3 Invisible flies up, Torch flies in finishing off Secret, Thing reengages and Clobbers Lobo for 2 wounds, and Fantastic misses Artemis who moves Acrobatically; OM on Batgirl.

The Fan 4 have initiative. In T1 Torch misses Artemis as she moves Acrobatically, Thing Clobbers Lobo (+3) finishing him off, and Fantastic hit Artemis for a wound as she Acrobatically moved; Empress engages and misses Thing with her Stick. In T2 Thing Clobbers Empress so hard she turns into a red mist (8/9 skulls (12 for RM) 1/4 shields), Torch Flames on finishing off Fantastic and giving Artemis 2 wounds before finishing her off with his normal attack for the win.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? The Fantastic 4 won with Thing bearing 5/6 wounds and Invisible and Torch unwounded.

- Give a brief overview. This match felt fairly even despite the fact that the Wrecking crew had more staying power. They would deal a blow to the young justice defenders and they would turn around and inflictt heavy wounds on the crew. In the end the Crew was too much for them though, not unexpected.

In T2 Robin takes to the Heights and Terra moves up; Wrecker hit Robin for 3 wounds, Thunderball moves up and finshes off Robin. In T3 Static flies in; Wrecker moves up hitting Terra for 3 wounds and Thundervball moves in finishing her off.

YJ has initiative. In T1 Empress moves in hitting Thunder and Wrecker with her Sticks for a wound each; Wrecker tries to hit Empress but blacks out and wakes up ankle deep in Water. In T2 Static moves in hitting Wrecker with a Taser Strike; OM Removed. In T3 Lobo jumps in for Static hitting Wrecker for a wound; Wrecker hit Static for 2 wounds.
R3
YJ has initiative. In T1 Static hit Wrecker with a Taser Strike; Wrecker finished off Static (Arrowette became fixated on Wrecker). In T2 Arrowette moved up shooting Wrecker for 3 wounds; Wrecker moved up hitting Arrowette for a wound. In T3 Lobo took Empress' turn and finished off Wrecker; OM on Wrecker.

Wrecking Crew have initiative. In T1 Piledriver moved up; Lobo moved up. In T2 Bulldozer moved in, Piledriver engaged Lobo pounding him into the ground giving him 3 wounds and then finishing him off (Arrowette) marked Piledriver as her Vendetta); Arrowette moves up shooting Piledriver for 4 wounds! (3/3skulls + 2 auto vs 1/5 shields). In T3 Thunderball blacks out and finds himself ankle deep in water; Arrowette misses Piledriver.

YJ has initiative. In T1 Empress gave Thunderball a wound; Piledriver missed Arrowette. In T2 Empress hit Thunderball from height for 3 wounds (4/5 skulls vs 1/6 shields); Bulldozer charges in Headbutting Empress off the map (Arrowette becomes fixated on Bulldozer), Piledriver finishes off Arrowette for the win.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? The Wrecking Crew won with Thunderball bearing 5/6 wounds, Piledriver bearing 4/6 wounds, and Bulldozer unwounded.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: She seems balanced and useful. There were times I almost wished she boosted herself, but she is plenty useful. I almost think she can come done about 10 more points.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: I got use out of all of her powers. I think I could have gotten better mileage out of VF had I played the YJ better but this is admittedly my first time using them as a team. They deal a surprising amount of wounds. I like them and Empress adds to what they can do but I think she can come down just a hair more and be about spot on.

After everyone moves into place, Miss Martian takes her shot sending Cyclops flying and taking a wound. Arsenal hits Iceman with a bola and lands a solid arrow. Beast moves in and strikes Miss Martian. Blue Beetle tries to move but is stopped by Jean, Arsenal takes a shot on Iceman and puts him down. Beast lands another good hit on Miss Martian. Cyclops targets Empress for an attack and ends up heading backwards. Miss Martian tosses Beast deeper into enemy lines thanks to Empress and deals an unblockable. Empress sends Cyclops back and ends the X-Men’s turn. Blue Beetle lands a small hit on Beast. Beast hits the whirlwind landing a strike on Blue Beetle and Kid Flash; Cyclops hits Arsenal for 1 wound. Beast’s whirlwind only hits Batgirl this time. Arsenal lands a hit on Angel and Blue Beetle finally shuts Beast down. Jean Grey tosses Miss Martian and Cyclops lands a good shot on Arsenal and drops him. Cyclops shoots down Batgirl but misses Kid Flash with his optic blast. Blue Beetle moves in on Cyclops dodging Jeans grip and lands a solid hit. Empress tries to move forward but is stopped by Jean. Jean destroys Miss Martian with her telekinesis and Cyclops hits Blue Beetle for 1 wound. Jean Grey takes out Empress and Cyclops backs her up destroying Blue Beetle. Cyclops and Jean didn’t need any help taking Kid Flash down either the war is won.

Winning Team: Professor X with 0 wounds, Angel with 1 wound, Jean Grey with 0 wounds, and Cyclops with 2 wounds.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Empress is a fun addition to the Titan/Sidekick build. Foresight didn’t happen very much but when it did it was pretty cool. Her Emperor’s Stick is sick, I found myself just using that rather than her normal attack. Reactive Mind Control was also sweet to pull off, talk about ending some synergy fast. Sadly, both games for her ended in a loss. Points wise I don’t think she’s worth 100, maybe a little less? Pretty cool design here, simple and straight forward.
