___________________________________________________________ THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: I'm liking what Chucky can do here. He can be added into any army as a tag along, but it may cost you, as seen in game 3. Wolverine's 2nd attack led to Chucky putting a wound on Wolverine, then Wolverine's 3rd attack on Shang-Chi was just enough to backfire on Wolverine due to MMA. The wound form Chucky made the difference and cost the game. However, Chucky did manage to score some wounds on his own turns, as well as once or twice when another figure took a turn. It felt like a nice balance that still encouraged you to take turns with Chucky. Unfortunately, Play Dead did not activate a single time throughout any of the games. Enough wounds were dealt over several attacks to get him to 4 before it would activate, thus bypassing it entirely. A bit of poor luck there. Even though he lost all 3 games, I think cutting his points down a bit is all that is needed, and he felt close at 80, so I'm thinking of going into testing at 75. Otherwise, we could stay around 85-95 and make Play Dead follow a Balder approach and rather than him take 1 wound guaranteed when he should be destroyed, instead have it be an unblockable on him so he has a chance to survive. |

Re: The Book of Chucky (Charles Lee Ray) (Initial Playtestin
Let me know what you guys think. We could go into testing at 75 as-is, or we could change Play Dead to be an unblockable instead of 1 wound, and give him a chance to keep going, the latter option seeing him stay at the 85 point level.

Personally, I like the idea of the Baldr approach, but that's just a mild preference and he sounds fun either way!

Re: The Book of Chucky (Charles Lee Ray) (Initial Playtestin
I'd like of like to see Play Dead work at least once in most games. So I say try the Balder approach.

Re: The Book of Chucky (Charles Lee Ray) (Initial Playtestin
I'm in favor of the Balder approach in exchange for a bit higher cost. 85-90 seems comfortable to head into testing.

Re: The Book of Chucky (Charles Lee Ray) (Initial Playtestin
Alright, I updated the SP with that approach. We'll head into testing at 85, and see how he fares. If he starts winning more often than not, we can look into bumping back to 95 or 105 as a ceiling before stats are tweaked if necessary.
I propose a vote to move Chucky into Public Playtesting. @Ronin - yea @Yodaking - yea @Tornado - yea @Scapemage - yea @japes - yea @johnny139 @Spidey'tilIDie - yea Last edited by Arkham; August 14th, 2018 at 10:37 AM. |

I missed a TON of this discussion, but as for my I think he feels like a natural for Wisecrack. But since Arkham likes the direction now, he gets my Yea.

Re: The Book of Chucky (Charles Lee Ray) (Public Playtesting
Wisecrack was a thought I had at one point, but there's just more than we're going to be able to represent on the card. His soul swapping was left out, as well as the approach to allow him to take victims with nobody noticing. It'd also conflict with Deadpool, and potentially make for a super annoying combo.
