Re: The Book of Vibe - Public Vibing
I'm thinking about adding this last line here (thematically he can see the future, then chooses to share what he finds out or not):
VIBING THE FUTURE Before rolling for initiative, if there is an Order Marker on this card, you may roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 8 or higher, you may choose an opponent. That opponent must let you view their "X" Order Marker. You may choose to reveal it. Mechanically this lets him either view it but not reveal it and then let Elongated Man do the revealing for his detective power, or view it and reveal it to help Killer Frost with her Trust Issues. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Quote:
Agreed. Better to have Cisco reveal the X on his card if you want soft synergy with Killer Frost. |

Re: The Book of Vibe - Public Vibing
Requiring him to reveal the "X" on his card for anything kills the combination with Elongated Man.

Re: The Book of Vibe - Public Vibing
What about this? Too messy?
VIBING THE FUTURE Before rolling for initiative, if there is an Order Marker on this card, you may either reveal it or roll the 20-sided die. If you reveal an Order Marker this way or roll 8 or higher, you may choose an opponent. That opponent must let you view their "X" Order Marker. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Vibe - Public Vibing
Or, alternately, could do this:
VIBING THE FUTURE Before rolling for initiative, if there is an Order Marker on this card, you may roll the 20-sided die. Before rolling, you may reveal an Order Marker on this card to add 2 to your roll. If you roll 8 or higher, you may choose an opponent. That opponent must let you view their "X" Order Marker. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Vibe - Public Vibing
Tiny change to Quick Thinking that shouldn't matter for much at all, except to improve Killer Frost synergy. Rather than removing the Order Marker Temporal Defense style, I'm going with this:
QUICK THINKING Once per game, when Vibe or a Metahuman you control within clear sight of Vibe would be destroyed, you may instead reveal an Order Marker on this card. If you do, ignore any wounds your figure would’ve received and the player turn immediately ends. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Vibe - Public Vibing
Will it be entirely clear to the player how revealing but not removing an OM works?

Re: The Book of Vibe - Public Vibing
Once per round, if Professor X or any friendly figure within 3 spaces of Professor X is attacked by a figure that does not have the Mental Shield special power, and at least 1 skull is rolled, you may reveal an "X" Order Marker on this card. If you do, the attacking player's turn immediately ends and the attacked figure receives no wounds.

Re: The Book of Vibe - Public Vibing
Okay, so there's a tangible difference between "revealing" an OM and "viewing" it. "Revealing" is essentially knocking it over, like you would at the start of one of your player turns, and "viewing" is just peeking at it and putting it back. Makes sense. I think that' just a case of me not remembering my HS terms, so carry on.

Re: The Book of Vibe - Public Vibing
Have we done just revealing for numbered order markers though? I feel like that is a bit of a difference from X Markers, and can run into confusion of how turns would technically work with that.
