Re: The Book of Ant-Man - Designing
Well, you're all bigger Marvel nerds than I am, so if it works for you, it works for me.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Ant-Man - Designing
So the height of an average person? Makes sense to me.

Re: The Book of Ant-Man - Designing
Told you we nailed it with 5/5 Griff! I really like how he has to decide to move a small amount and attack or to leap and give up attacking. Really looking forward to an Avengers build with this guy and some Ant Hills!
Semi-Retired C3G Hero (and first Official Member of the C3G Target Audience!) The correct way to add C3G playtests to posts. My favorite day EVER on heroscapers. Re: The Book of Ant-Man - Designing
C3G INITIAL PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM
NAME OF THE TEST UNIT Ant-Man - THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them. Pass - MIRROR TEST/ Check to see if the unit were played against itself, if there would be any loops that would upset the balance of the Game. Pass - BONDING TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing Bonding abilities to make sure there are no continual Bonding possibilities that do not stop appropriately or do not stop at all. This is to prevent loops in Bonding. Pass - SYNERGIES TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing synergies to make sure there are no factors that could break the game by making any unit to powerful or too weak. Pass - POWER CHECK/ Consider the test unit and all existing units and all glyphs to compare to and check for any powers that could be over amplified and break the game. Each power must define when it takes place, who or what it affects, and What are the stipulations on the power if there are any. Pass - FUN TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play. Pass - FUN COMPETITIVE TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play against. Pass - DRAFTING TEST/ Consider whether or not this design is worth drafting. Pass - USAGE TEST/ Consider whether or not all of the powers on this card were used or at least usable. Pass - STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game. Pass - Heavy Hitter or Mid-Level Hero/ Does it pass, Yes or No? What should be the unit's point value? Give a brief summary. Pass at 60 points. He is balanced IMO solidly between 50 and 60 points, but his constitution and defense power pushes him up a bit IMO.
Spoiler Alert!
_____________________________________________________________ - Squad / Does it pass, Yes or No? What should be the unit's point value? Give a brief summary. Pass at 60. His defense makes him certainly difficult to wound for any low attack squadie, but his own attack of 2 really helps balance that out. Map: Custom. Units: Ant-Man Vs Moloid x6.
Spoiler Alert!
_____________________________________________________________ - Squad / Does it pass, Yes or No? What should be the unit's point value? Give a brief summary. Pass at 60. Map: Custom. Units: Ant-Man Vs Beat Cops x1.
Spoiler Alert!
_____________________________________________________________ - Army Test/ Does it pass, Yes or No? What should be the unit's point value? Give a brief summary. Pass at 60 definitely. Even with the Fire Ants, Ant-Man never felt too powerful and he was only even a good Order Marker choice a couple of times when the initiative was swiching and the ants were stacked around Hulk or Kang. Map: Custom. Units: Ant-Man, Fire Ant Mound x11, Captain America, Iron Man (C3G), and Thor VS Hulk and Kang x2.
Spoiler Alert!
_____________________________________________________________ - Army Test/ Does it pass, Yes or No? What should be the unit's point value? Give a brief summary. Pass at 60 points. He was fun to leap around and watch him trying to get height was amusing considering how short he is. Map: Custom. Units: Ant-Man, SHIELD Sniper, Scarlet Witch, and Invisible Woman VS Hawkman, Hawkgirl, and Green Arrow.
Spoiler Alert!

Re: The Book of Ant-Man - Designing
So far so good. I'm dragging after last night, so at this rate you might beat me to Killer Croc.
