I'm currently away from my home computer and can't add any new cards. As soon as possible, I'll update this.

All the cards are now the right size to be printed and either used as is or taped or glued onto playing cards and I added some new cards. I also slightly changed the rules:
Nerd Card TCG Starting a game: Shuffle both players’ Nerd Card decks. These decks become the live decks. Each player takes five cards from the top of their live deck for their hand. Roll a six sided die, hereafter referred to as a D6, to see who takes the first turn. Reroll any ties. Taking a Turn: 0. Place any destroyed cards in your dead deck 1. Place any cards of your choice from your hand on the playfield. Make sure to know which card will be attacking and which will be defending so you can be sure that your opponent(s) don’t see what your defending cards are 2. Draw one card to be a reinforcement from your live deck for your hand 3. Flip any cards from attacking stance to defending stance by flipping the selected cards over 4. Attack with one card by following the text on the card. Be sure to check all other attacking cards to see if it benefits from any D6 enhancements. Terms: Playfield: Where ever you are playing, usually a table or other large flat surface Live Deck: A deck of Nerd Cards that you draw your original hand and reinforcements from. These usually have a number of cards that is a multiple of 20. Dead Deck: A deck of Nerd Cards that contains all your destroyed cards. These cards are only put back on the playing field by special text on a card. Attacking Stance: A card laid face up. These cards are more vulnerable to attacks. Defending Stance: A card laid face down. These cards are less vulnerable to attacks. Class: The classification of whether a card is a melee warrior, ranged warrior, magi or beast. Number: A number 1-20 displayed in the top left of a card. Element: The classification of whether a card is from the fire, water, air, earth, or aether element. This is displayed in the top right of the picture. From left to right: Fire, water, air, earth, aether D6 modification: Any modification made to the result of a D6 roll. Most D6 modifications are in the text on a card, the rest are as follows. Add 1 every time a fire card attacks a water card, water card attacks an earth card, an earth card attacks an air card, or an air card attacks a fire card. Add 1 if all your attacking cards are of the same element, or class. D6 enhancements in the text on a card are only used if the card is attacking. |
