Jim Butcher's Codex Alera series
Hi, all:
I thought, seeing as there's already a thread for Jim Butcher's Dresden files, there should be one for his fantasy series as well. I'm not picky--this thread is for open discussion of this series. Enjoy! |

I thought it was quite enjoyable. Still have to read the last 2 books, but haven't made time yet. The story on how the books came about is interesting.
Jim Butcher was talking with someone and made the statement that a good author could turn anything into a good story. The other person challenged him to make a good story out of the Roman Legion and Pokemon. |
