page 1.

Note: With the building I used this Palisadenforts a tinkering measurer and a second adhesive.
Who proceeds after this guidance, acts on own responsibility!!!
Tinkering measurers are very sharp, and injuries are very easily possible.
Second adhesive sticks skin, lids and other parts of the body very fast together, whereupon however also to the label one refers.
This is findige amateur handicraftsmen and such, who it to become to want, however not hold to accomplish the individual steps of this guidance.

page 2 step 1
As working material one needs a tinkering measurer, a ruler, adhesive, second adhesive, approx. 1mm thick cardboard, black color, brown color and each quantity of Holzstäbe of 6mm and 4mm diameter.
Soft wood (Kiefer, spruce) can best be worked on, however beech wood staffs are much easier to procure, even in larger quantities.
So that the Palisadenfort fits on the Hexraster of the HeroScape area, it is necessary to sketch an appropriate underbody for each planned area part.

From the cardboard strips are cut out by 5,5mm broad. Short bits of it are cut directly on the Hexraster of the HeroScape area and tapered possibly, until one has a zigzag template of the desired length.
With further bits in a second situation the individual parts are with one another stuck together, so that a prototype develops, with whose assistance one further of these zigzag parts on cardboard up-paint can.

page 3 step 2
The actual baseplate for the first construction unit is noted above and cut out like shown on a piece cardboard.
That hit a corner with the X one does not use.

The cardboard strips are positioned to the appropriate places on the
Hexraster and cousin is glued on as precisely as possible the cardboard strips now, so that the construction unit fits exactly later on the raster.

page 4(step 3)

As in the two pictures above to be shown now of cardboard two right parallelepipeds low-cut out and with adhesive strips stuck

page 5 step 4

The two right parallelepipeds are stuck suitably the form of the baseplate.

Afterwards they are glued on the baseplate.

Now the baseplate in a brown clay/tone is painted, which is as similar as possible to the brown basic colour of the HeroScape area. The actual building is black painted, so that the grey color of the cardboard does not through-gleam later by the wood

page 6 (step 5)
Both of the staffs with 6 mm and with 4 mm in diameter in each case 20 - 30 pieces all around with the tinkering measurer something are peeled (note: to jerk-twitch is the knife in the thumb…!), so that they look like genuine wood trunks, thus with irregular crust.
Then the staffs with diluted brown color are painted.
I selected a red-brown clay/tone here. If I could begin however again from the front, I would select a clearly darker grey-brown clay/tone, since this many more naturally works.
Subsequently, the staffs in approx. 10mm long pieces are cut. They should be actually all differently long (between 9,8mm and 10,3mm). With the tinkering measurer they are now angespitzt, and the first Palisaden are

page 7 step 6
On the two exteriors of the building part the Palisadenhölzer is stuck.
The insides are pasted with 6cm long Hölzchen.

At the internal side panel remains something place for a ladder.

The rungs of the leaders are manufactured from the 4mm-Holzstäben
* holzstäbchen the wodden things

page 8 (step 7)
The planks of the walk along the battlements are likewise manufactured from the 4mm-Stäben.
With my variant each Hölzchen had to be measured individually. The picture down shows this completely clearly.

The first construction unit is now finished and operational.
Now a second part is made exactly mirror-wrongly.

page 9 (step

For the gate unit two large Palisaden are needed and six further Palisaden of approx. 4,2cm length.
In addition a small wooden strip of 5mm broad and 1,8mm strength. Two pieces of 3,5cm and 5,0cm are cut off by this likewise brown painted border.
In the picture is to be seen above, how the parts must be stuck.

Afterwards the gate is assembled for long border bits from seven 5,4cm long Holzstäbchen and two 3,9cm (see picture below).
The two border bits must be probably tapered to the hinge side something, so that the door comes up later also really completely.

Of brown paper clips the parts for the two hinges can be made. One receives the eyes, by winding and in the desired place pinching off the wire of a paper clip around another wire.

With a completely fine drill the holes for the hinges are bored in the wood. Attention, the eyes 0,5mm sit more highly than the two hooks.
Soft wood leaves itself probably also with a needle holes, but beech wood must be bored in any case

page 10 (step 9)

With second adhesive the eyes into the gate and the hooks are stuck into the gate unit.
Green Stuff is also possible, but second adhesive hardens many faster out, and one can further-tinker alike.
If the holes are too large, one will not come around around Green Stuff or other modelling mass.

As soon as the hinges stuck together firmly, the gate can be hung up.

page 11(step 10)

For the roof of the gate unit first a piece cardboard is cut out and painted black, as is to be seen above.

For this construction unit the 4mm-Hölzchen is used.
So that the cardboard strip comes to lie later always exactly centrically on the walk along the battlements, the two finished construction units are positioned on the Hexraster of the HeroScape area. The cardboard strip is put accurately to the desired place, and with the ruler the necessary length of the two Stäbchen for the lower surface is measured in front and in the back (see picture above). This so approx. 5cm might be.

The Stäbchen for the top side are exactly 13,4cm long. This corresponds to accurately three Hexfeldern, taken into consideration the gaps between them.
The roof of the gate unit is built just as broadly as the walk along the

page 12 (step 11)

Now the framework of the gate is connected with the roof.
The accurate sticking position must be found out however at the developed object (see also picture completely below).
Put down for sticking will the gate unit however, as is to be seen above, and must some more be possibly supported. The adhesive must harden really well, since this element is not so stable, like the two other parts.
Surely one can design here still better…

The finished construction unit can be inserted now between the two Palisadenelementen.
