410 point tourney army help
sorry if this thread has already been started, but i need help for a tourney comin up on the 24th [of April]
What do you guys think would be the best way to spend 110 pts in melee squads? for example: Warriors of Ashra x2 Isamu or anything better you can think of? Thanks

If you could make room for more points, I would choose the Knights. They are by far the best melee squad around. I would maybe also choose the Deathreavers. Not an attack force, but sure a dandy to kill.

For melee I think Warriors of Ashra and Isamu are the best you can get for the price of 110 points.
W.o.A. have 3 attack and 3 defense for stats which is pretty solid for a cheap squad. They have a good chance to block all damage from a melee attack and Isamu can dodge and does a decent attack. Is this a melee only tourney?
If I had 110 points to spend on a melee unit I would just take Sgt Drake Alexander...sure he cant attack as often but he also cant get bumped off from ranged units before he gets a chance to do some damage.

As far as squads go, WoA are good against melee-only teams, Marrden Hounds will decimate some squads with the plague, and Minions are pretty good at filling in a 110 point gap. army so far:
Syvarris Kaemon Awa (if i can find him cheap enough  )Saylind the Kyrie Warrior (for getting Syvarris and Kaemon into good position) My 2011 tourney record: 7-7 My 2010 tourney record: 7-9

actually i probably wont buy kaemon...
 too spendy... so now i need a whole new army, any ideas?

Don't take Saylin to a tourney, he would be a waste of points in that setting. If you want help building an army you will have to let us know what figures you have and what, if any, rules you must abide by for the tourney.
