I thought that was what you meant by inserts.

I am looking to buy one more RtFF. If I get packaging, I'll gladly sell or trade it.

Yeah when I said inserts I was refering to say the plastic trays/cardboard that hold stuff in place.

Just got the box for ROTV and Heroes of Laur from Warrior Priest.

When they was new did they use twist ties to hold the figures in place? Did ROTV have any insert or trays ?

I don't remember twist ties although there might have been some as I got my one and only RotV in 2007 so my memor is a bit foggy. But there was a white plastic tray that all of the figures and ruin pieces fit into.

Okay I was wondering about the twist ties because I see a few holes in the trays where twist ties may have been used to hold them in place.

I have plastic trays in both my Heroes or Laur and Road to the Forgotten Forest boxes. But the ROTV does not have any plastic trays in the box. Just the outter box and the card inner box. So all the parts are currently loose inside it.

Yeah the plastic was pretty flimsy and if you didn't stack the tiles just right and pack the figures just right it was easy to crack the plastic trying to fit it back in the box. The plastic tray was the first thing I had to throw away and the box came shortly thereafter.

Yeah for the 2 plastic inserts I have they are very thin plastic for sure. I can see them breaking easy.
