I like that idea best. I mean, it's 2500 freakin' points after all! Let him have an insane turn (of course, there's still the limit to the 'aura') once in a while.

I think that could do it. He definitely hit 20 about four or five times during my X-Men test, and it was just overkill. But lowering it to 1 on the majority of the successful rolls would help against mid-level heroes, I think, while still keeping his value high.
I'd say go with that change and put him at 2500 points and here's my preemptive yea for ERB if those changes are made.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

If you roll 14-19, choose one Unique Heroes within 10 clear sight spaces.

Take temporary control of each any chosen Hero and immediately take a turn with each of the chosen Heroes. At the end of the turn, control of each the chosen Heroes returns to the player who controlled the Hero before Mere Pawns was used. All Order Markers that were on each the chosen Hero's card will stay on the card.


Just makes it easier if it stays singular.
