Spoiler Alert!

Iron Patriot takes the first initiative, and moves up Bleez and Mera. Bleez has his first OM. She steals a battery from Mera and uses the extra move to scoot all the way up to the edge of the Avengers' Start Zone, and attacks Iron Fist. She puts 3 wounds on him, but does not score a wound with the unblockable from Treacherous Rage.

Norman has the next OM and doesn't get a chance to activate Bleez, so she kinda takes a beating on the Avengers' first two activations, going down to 1 Life. She does use Raging Plasma and Treacherous Rage to put a retaliatory wound on Iron Fist and 2 on Luke Cage, though.

Norman moves up at the end of the round and destroys Bucky, getting a chance to activate Bleez. She's down to 5 attack after burning a couple batteries, but she manages to get a wound in on Iron Fist and then gets a Treacherous Rage unblockable to finish him off. Bleez got polished off by Scarlet Spider immediately afterward.

So to recap... the strategy here was to try and use Bleez mainly as a heavy to go assassinate Iron Fist (who has a tendency to tear through mid-levelers like Norman). Mildly successful - Bleez took him out in the first round thanks to a big attack and auto-wounding, but did die in the process. She dished out a couple auto-wounds to Luke Cage in the process, though, which isn't nothing.

Norman and Mera were rolling so-so on offense and couldn't quite crack the Avengers' defenses, resulting in an Avengers win.

Unit Summary:

• Damage Done (Normal Attack): 4 wounds to Iron Fist in 2 attacks
• Treacherous Rage: stole 1 marker from Mera at the start of the first round. Rolled 4 unblockables, inflicted 1 wound on Luke Cage and 1 wound on Iron Fist (destroyed)
• Raging Plasma: inflicted 1 wound on Iron Fist, 1 wound on Luke Cage
• Damage Taken: 1 wound from Bucky in 1 attack, 0 wounds from Cap in 1 special attack, 3 wounds from Iron Fist in 1 attack, 1 wound from Luke Cage in 1 attack, 1 wound from Scarlet Spider in 1 special attack (destroyed)

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Captain America with 4 wounds, Luke Cage with 3 wounds, Scarlet Spider unwounded

Bleez gets held back at first here, with Carol and Diana leading the charge. Bleez gets moved up in the second round and attacks Kara, putting 2 wounds on her and putting her down to 1 Life remaining. Kara counter-attacks with a 6-skull roll. Bleez responds with a 1-shield, 0-blank defense roll. She survives (barely), but can't use Raging Plasma to take Kara out without blanks. Bleez takes a couple Hired Gun attacks, no problem, then it's her turn again. She steals a battery from Kara and then attacks her to polish her off.

Using her fearsome 7 attack, she teams with Carol to take out Krypto in one turn, and then attacks and twice fails to wound a Skrull Infiltrator. Carol engages the last Hired Gun, which has been fruitlessly trying to chip away at Bleez, but Carol fails to wound the Hired Gun herself.

Despite some unbelievable incompetence on attack rolls, Carol and Bleez eventually manage to win the day, skating through on their last legs. Bleez takes out Lex, leaving her and Carol with just 2 Skrull Infiltrators to mop up, which they manage pretty handily.

Unit Summary:

• Damage Done (Normal Attack): 3 wounds to Kara in 2 attacks (destroyed), 2 wounds to Krypto in 1 attack, destroyed 1 Skrull Infiltrator in 3 attacks, 3 wounds to Lex in 2 attacks (destroyed)
• Treacherous Rage: used 1 time to steal a Battery from Kara. Rolled 1 unblockable, inflicted 0 wounds.
• Raging Plasma: inflicted 0 wounds.
• Damage Taken: 5 wounds from Kara in 1 attack, 0 wounds from Hired Guns in 10 attacks, 0 wounds from Krypto in 1 normal attack

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Couple games that both felt pretty close - the first was a loss by a decent margin, but it could have tipped the other way with some different luck. The second one was a razor-thin victory. Mechanics feel okay to me. She's definitely a strong figure, as a solid bruiser unto herself that adds more auto-wounding to the Reds.

Looking great, thank you! I appreciate that you tried her against a Red and that it worked. 350 points is looking good to me considering the results of Bats' and Ronin's tests. I propose we advance to Final Editing!

Is the wording squared away? I updated the SP with our most recently-agreed on changes.
@Arkham , are you still good on the cards here? I believe Supergirl and Mera will need updates as well, but I want to square everything away here before asking for those.

"Red Light of Rage" was my first thought for the power name on the Red Power Battery alternative as well, but I'd like to see if we can figure something else out... "Rage" is already pretty prominent in Red Lantern power names. Case in point, Bleez now has "Rage" or "Raging" in all three power names.

Wording is good besides figuring out that power name.

Ysmault is the planet on which the Red Power Battery resides. A section of the planet, known as the blood ocean, is what contributes to the changing of Red Lanterns blood from human (or other species') blood into corrosive plasma.
