C3G INITIAL PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM NAME OF THE TEST UNIT (Glyph of Casket of Ancient Winters) - THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them. PASS - MIRROR TEST/ Check to see if the unit were played against itself, if there would be any loops that would upset the balance of the Game. PASS - BONDING TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing Bonding abilities to make sure there are no continual Bonding possibilities that do not stop appropriately or do not stop at all. This is to prevent loops in Bonding. PASS - SYNERGIES TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing synergies to make sure there are no factors that could break the game by making any unit to powerful or too weak. PASS - POWER CHECK/ Consider the test unit and all existing units and all glyphs to compare to and check for any powers that could be over amplified and break the game. Each power must define when it takes place, who or what it affects, and What are the stipulations on the power if there are any. PASS - FUN TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play. PASS - FUN COMPETITIVE TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play against. PASS - DRAFTING TEST/ Consider whether or not this design is worth drafting. PASS - USAGE TEST/ Consider whether or not all of the powers on this card were used or at least usable. PASS - STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game. PASS Heavy Hitter or Mid-Level Hero Test - Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes - What should be the unit's point value? 360 - Give a brief overview. He’ll still struggle against the elite heavy hitters one-on-one, but he should be a nice piece of a Frost Giant army and raising his attack to 7 gives him a puncher’s chance one-on-one.

This is probably Laufey’s best possible army, so a win with 3 lives on Loki works for me. Map: Custom Units: Laufey (360), Frost Giant x4 (880), Loki (420) (1660) vs. Thor (430), Captain America (240), Scarlet Witch (285), Vision (285), Iron Fist (260), Hawkeye (160) (1660)

Thanks! I figure all of our tests for Laufey will pretty much be double duty for this, so it won't be tough getting tests for it.

Cool thanks. I noticed in your second test that you said the glyph didn't affect the Hawk people since they have flying. If I'm not mistaken, Flying figures still have to count an additional space to land on heavy snow.
Speaking of which I wonder if we shouldn't just include the Heavy Snow rules in the OP for this thread. |

Maybe that's what Tickle meant, as they only suffer -1 to their move from landing compared to 1/2 movement for walkers. Yes, this glyph gave the "ice people" the advantage, but it was not too powerful, and it was nice to see such a game affect that simulates its own scenario. - What should be the unit's point value? N/A. - Give a brief overview. Many times Hulk had to leap rather than run, or else he would have only been walking a very short distance, and Thor could fly, so it wasn't too bad on him, he just had to give up his last move. Map: Custom. Units: Laufey and Frost Giants x2 - VS - Thor and Hulk.

Difficult to deal with at times, but really only when trying to bring a figure up from the start zone. Because the FGs are so fast, the battle is upon you fast enough. Map: Custom. Units: Laufey and Frost Giants x7 (1900) - Vs - Superman II, Supergirl, Superboy (Connor), Bizarro, Steel, Eradicator, and SHIELD Sniper x1 (1900).
